Second time two months later. The first time, following intuition and reviews, I was able to confirm the positive opinions published. The second time is often more disappointing as the honeymoon has already passed. But this was not the case, on the contrary!!! The wild vegetables collected and expertly enhanced by Orlando, the rigatoni alla pajata, the Genzano DOC bread, well worth the 80 minute drive to reach the restaurant. The third time I will be more "scientific" and leave a little space for dessert.

I visted for dinner with some friends last Saturday. Parking nearby is very difficult so walk or take a taxi. The place is traditional so old and rustic but the welcome, service and hospitality is truly old school and wonderful!! And the food is to die for! We had a few mixed starters to share and then we each had a pasta dish and they were EXCELLENT, no food on any plate was wasted!! We had beer to wash the food down and then 3 of us has a home made sweet and really liked them! And after a shot of mirto each we then paid less than 30 Euro per head amazing service, food AND value. Excellent.

We had a very good dinner. Dishes prepared with care! The owners and staff make you feel at ease. To return.

Pleasant discovery of a characteristic restaurant in Genzano in a peaceful corner. Excellent dishes with simple elements but reworked in a balanced and extremely refined way. Excellent balance of tastes and flavors all at an excellent price. Extremely helpful and kind staff with a welcome visit from the chef. We will return soon for the Argentina evening!

Conosco e apprezzo Orlando e la sua cucina da circa 30 anni, anche se a causa del mio trasloco in altra città, non posso godere della Sfizzietteria-La Mia Gioia come vorrei. Ma ogni quale volta sono di passaggio per Genzano, cerco di non perdere l'occasione di una cena spettacolare, fatta con cura e passione, con sapori intensi quanto talvolta ricercati. È inutile che vi faccia l'elenco dei piatti, ecc., Orlando e la sua cucina che trasporta la Roma antica e tradizionale fino ad oggi. Prezzo corretto, locale sempre fedele nel tempo, anche con terrazzetta esterna. Consiglio un giro di antipasti misti che fa Orlando, i primi sono da "urlo", tra i secondi a mio gusto spiccano gli involtini ripieni ... e se la stagione è quella giusta, accompagnate il tutto con una caraffa di romanella. Viva Orlando!
