Cozy restaurant where they really do their best to make you happy and where they speak good English. The food is home-made and you can really taste it, the lasagna and tortellini are a must try!! Afterwards, a limoncello on the house. This is a must-have during your visit to Bologna.

It was without a doubt the best pizza of my life. I had a beer and a Buffala pizza. To be honest, I don't really know whether beer is good or bad, but I like pizza and eat it often. I've been to pizzerias in Italy and France that are said to be ``delicious,'' as well as shops run by the True Neapolitan Pizza Association in Japan, but to be honest, the pizza here is on a whole other level. (And a little cheaper than the market price) I wasn't able to visit Osteria, which is said to be the best in Bologna this time, but when it comes to pizza, it can't get any better than here. It had a taste that made me think. Please try it when you visit Bologna.

The day we arrived in Bologna, we decided that dinner just had to be pizza. We went to a high-end pizzeria and were told that, without a reservation, we couldn't get in. The maitre d' pointed to a place down the street. "They're OK," he said. Well, we were hungry so we decided to give it a try. We walked in and the place felt like Italy: Eat, drink, and be merry. The wait staff could not have been more welcoming. We started with some wine -- a good list with great pricing -- and then came the pizzas, one for me and one for my beloved wife whose birthday we were celebrating. How were the pizzas? In a word, GREAT. Two days later we ate lunch there, splitting a pizza and tasting some of their other dishes, all of which were outstanding. On our last night in Bologna, we went there for a third time, for dessert, coffee, and some after-dinner Amaro. The dessert was a cannoli the likes of which . . . OMG! The interior of the shell was bathed in delicious chocolate, making everything else taste so amazing. This is a wonderful, budget-friendly establishment tat is not to be missed.

As the majority of all restaurants they have also pizzas on the menu but they earned a good reputation for excellent fish.An other advantage: rather easy to get a table without reservation. Nice informal seating and service. Easy to find several great antipasti, primi and secondi on the menu. The grilled fish platter was from an outstanding price /quality ratio.
