Yesterday we decided to take a motorcycle ride from Milan to the Hermitage of Sant'Alberto. A bar in the center of Voghera recommended this restaurant to us. I have to say, it's perfect! Friendly staff, excellent food! Just what we were looking for! I highly recommend it to everyone!

Sono stato in questo ristorante un giorno di passaggio: un po fuori mano, ma buon modo di approcciarsi dei camerieri prima e della Marinella conosciuta dopo.
Senza spendere troppe parole: cibo di ottima qualità !!! Antipasto della casa buono, agnolotti al sugo di brasato superlativo…ho poi preso un vino rosso sfuso vivace che andava giù come un fulmine. Alla fine mi è stato offerto un bargnolino, liquore un po dolciastro ma gradevole. Complimenti!!!
abbiamo festeggiato un compleanno in famiglia e ci siamo trovati molto bene, il cibo ottimo e molto ben cucinato. Il menù degustazione eccellente! Il servizio è stato veloce e il cameriere che ci ha servito molto gentile e simpatico (alcuni di noi hanno fatto anche il bis). Il locale molto luminoso, rustico, ma arredato in modo gradevole. Consigliato!

we celebrated a family birthday and we had a great time, the food was excellent and very well cooked. Excellent tasting menu! The service was fast and the waiter who served us was very kind and friendly (some of us even had an encore). The room is very bright, rustic, but pleasantly furnished. Advised!

Old and honest trattoria, a point of reference for local catering. The strong points are the friendliness of the staff and the well-tested local dishes, especially the risottos.
Perhaps it is better to leave aside the guided menus: yesterday for example (Easter Monday guided menu) for starters pleasant typical cured meats but, unfortunately, followed by unlikely gourmet fantasies such as salami cooked in apple sauce and herbs and boiled egg, both inedible; first excellent risotto with mushrooms, sausage and lamb but followed by terrible herb gnocchi and second course decent beef tartare followed by lamb chops à la piast which were good but in very modest quantities. To finish, a muffin-type dessert perhaps remedied by the super covered with strawberry jam.
In short, up and down for the whole lunch.
As mentioned, it is better to choose, when possible, the à la carte dishes, sticking to the well-tested ones and scrupulously avoid pizza. As already mentioned, exquisite staff and a very welcoming rustic environment.
