Un buon menu' di antipasti sia caldi che freddi. Ottimo il cartaceo con crema di castagne. Avrei preferito qualche acciuga al verde in più. Buono ma consiglierei di servire il tpmino al cartoccio con carta forno e non co la stagnola. Gli agnolotti buoni ma un pochino asciutti nell'impasto e nel condimento. Buono il vino se pur sfuso. Buon servizio per un prezzo nella media. Torneremo.

An excellent find, way up a winding and narrow serpentine road above Settimo Vittone. "Marenda" signifies a lighter meal, so they do not serve seconds, but what they serve is excellent. An expansive wine cellar will meet any requirements, and the live-in owner makes sure everything is cooked with love. The house agnolotti are just sublime.
Well worth a detour if you are in, or passing through, the Aosta valley.

About 10 minutes from the highway we found a delightful little place in the cool and quiet. All tables with beautiful fresh flowers. Typical local dishes offered with pride in traditions. The name in dialect means "strengthened snack" which the women brought to allow them to work in the fields in the summer given the long days. Many gluten free options. Quick and refined cuisine. Attentive service. The well-stocked wine cellar is a spectacle!! Many local products on sale. Eggnog from 10. A great discovery that deserves a detour!

A rather distressing mountain road, arriving at the hotel at the top of the empty mountain… hostel? No point. Friendly welcome in Italian at the hotel. Then head to the restaurant, the owner (wife of the hotel gentleman) speaks French. Excellent food! Divine pasta. Original snails. Divine chestnut carpaccio. Top notch ice cream. An excellent surprise

I wasn't particularly enthusiastic, the meat platter with original chestnut cream was good, the wild herb soup with excess melted butter and unmixed cheese, the ravioli with slightly thick dough, the wine list was excellent. Fast service with no description of the dishes and little empathy. Welcoming environment, shame about the annoying flies. Prices a little above the norm.
