A few months ago, we were passing through Bergamo for a concert and stopped for dinner at Osteria La Malga. I had roast beef with delicious baked potatoes, and my friend had tortelli with burrata and tomato. Everything was delicious, with generous portions and balanced flavors. Friendly service and prompt service. Overall, a great experience, worth keeping in mind if you're in the area.

UPDATE 2025: Something has changed in the management, and it shows in the preparation of the dishes... They're definitely more meticulously prepared, the quality is good, but at the same time, the prices have also been updated... It's not a negative because I'd go back, but I instinctively found the first version of Malga more welcoming and pleasant. A very pleasant discovery in Bergamo! I went with my girlfriend to eat some local food and found everything I was looking for. Simple and delicious dishes!...from appetizers to desserts, including first and second courses...a huge selection. A true trattoria/osteria. Prices are normal and, in fact, very competitive for everything they offer. I'll definitely be back, so I highly recommend it.

Andare a mangiare in malga crea sempre qualche aspettativa: una sana abbuffata di prodotti locali di montagna, come minimo. Quello che uno non si aspetta è che in un ristorante d'alta quota vengano preparati piatti di design.Questa è la sorpresa che ci ha riservato la Malga Ritort, nel cuore del Parco Naturale Adamello Brenta. Una location stupenda, con viste eccezionali sulle Dolomiti. Il tempo quel giorno non ha dato il meglio di sé, ma rifugiarsi all'interno della struttura non è stato un sacrificio, anzi!Sfiziosi antipasti che comprendevano salumi e formaggi (tra cui la tanto agognata 'spressa') hanno aperto l'appetito a un delizioso bis di primi (risotto ai porcini e agnolotti in crosta di formaggio) per poi passare alla carne salada di cervo, polenta... fino allo strudel! Insomma un trionfo del sapore!!

Sarebbe meglio choudere alle auto.

I came here on spec to join a local friend for lunch - he didn’t know the place, but the location was near his work and we thought we’d give it a try. From outside it looks closed, but when I peeped through the door to lots of happy diners, many in work clothes, I knew it was a good choice. The set lunch menu, at €13 for starters, meat and veg plus wine, water and coffee, is terrific value, and everything we had was freshly prepared. Pasta steamed with seafood sauce was particularly good, as were the tasty and tender pork steaks. Service was efficient and friendly, and the atmosphere is cosy. Recommended!

Deludente mi spiace dirlo. Casonceli con un retrogusto non del tutto piacevole quasi ammarognolo, paccheti con il tartufo pesanti con tanta panna! Presentazione del piatti molto dozzinale con poca attenzione. Servizio poco attento pur essendo che se lo fan pagare. Abbastanza amo chiesto i gnocchi fritti e ci sono arrivati 6 gnocchi mignon al costo finale di ben 9€ (farina, acqua, sale e frittura). Locale freddo nel vero senso della parola, mancante di carattere!! Davvero deludente!
