In Italy for 40 plus days and the pasta with Rabbit ragu was the best I've had from Como to Taormina.....and everywhere else in-between. Yes....there was yelling and screaming from little kids in the Piazza -- but who the hell cares when the food is this delicious. Outstanding food. And I'm not exaggerating one bit. From USA

Two days spent in Pistoia where we ate lunch and dinner at the restaurant and it was only at the Macelleria that we returned with great pleasure. The staff is very pleasant and professional, all the dishes were very good and prepared with quality ingredients, especially the meats, simple but tasty cuisine. In addition, the atmosphere in Piazza della Sala is really special in the evening when a lot of people and especially young people meet there and we really enjoyed it.

I had lunch last week with my boyfriend and we had a good time. They took us without a reservation for lunch at 2 on Sunday and served us straight away. Welcoming and helpful staff. Good value for money and excellent food. Advised!

Auf einem der schönsten Plätze in Pistoia gelegen findet man hier immer einen Platz. Die Macellaria hat drinnen und draußen viele Tische. Der Service ist freundlich und schnell. Das Preis-Leistungsverhältnis außerordentlich gut. Wir haben für drei Personen weniger als 47 Euro bezahlt. Das Fleisch war sehr lecker und empfehlenswert sind die Bratkartoffeln (patate fritte). Sie sind ganz frisch gemacht und lecker 😋

Great food and nice place. The Fiorentina was special as were the roasted potatoes. Prices normal. Highly recommended!

24/07/2024: The only flaw is that the place is a bit small, but furnished with sobriety and essentiality. For the rest, bread and above all spectacular pastries, a confectionery product of a quality uncommon in Pistoia. The pastries to take to the office, now, only from here
