We went for lunch and it wasn't a great experience because perhaps our expectations were higher. The food was good overall, but the portions were very small, both for the appetizer and the first course. I'd say a small sample of the first course, but it was good. The atmosphere was a bit dated, in need of updating, as was the bathroom. The quality/price ratio was inconsistent; the price was too high for what we ate. 2 meager, poor appetizers, 4 miserable first courses, and 2 second courses with sorbet. Over 200 euros, I'd say a bit too much. But everyone will have to decide for themselves.

We visited this restaurant for dinner. The place is authentic and very typical.
Great service, beautiful traditional ceramic plates. Don’t miss plate with seafood starters-it’s great!Pasta was amazing.
We also like wine-organic.

Orecchiette with grandma's ragù and grandma's dish for the main course (meatballs), lemon and pepper tagliolini with Ionian red shrimp and salted Toritto almonds for her... for the main course, local skewers with Ionian red shrimp.
Starting with the orecchiette, an excellent ragù, as were the meatballs with the same sauce (I presume)—tagliolini rated 9 out of 10 for her and 10/10 for his main course.
The Oste is a delightful, gentle giant, and the interior setting is very characteristic with an old-world, rustic feel.
I have no hesitation in saying so, I highly recommend it if you're passing through Grottaglie!

Found by chance... it turned out to be a wonderful surprise.
La Luna nel Pozzo is a very welcoming and family-friendly trattoria. The food is excellent, described in excellent terms by the staff, who are very attentive and always available.
The owner is a wonderful person, helpful and ready to satisfy any request.
The quality/price ratio is fair.
Even finding parking was not a problem.
I was pleasantly surprised by this trattoria, where guests are pampered and guided to discover the local products, which are truly excellent.
I highly recommend this place and will return as soon as possible.

If you're in Grottaglie visiting the Ceramics District, at the end of the main street you'll find Trattoria La Luna nel Pozzo. It's an almost magical place, reflecting our Pensiero Meridiano, a slow pace that highlights the flavors of our region. The owners' courteous and friendly service, always on tiptoe, allows you to enjoy dishes paired with wines and craft beers. An experience worth savouring with both hands, palate, and eyes!
