La Loggia In Altopascio

Typical Tuscan rustic style room with a view of the square. Perfectly clean. Check in with very kind staff. Too bad we couldn't try the dishes from the spaghetti restaurant, closed for shift that evening! We'll be back!

We stayed in the room with a bathroom, very nice with typical Tuscan furnishings, clean and functional, many places to put things. The room is on the second floor and can be reached by a slightly steep staircase. The door opens onto a small square a stone's throw from the town center, small, nice and well kept. On the floor below there is the spaghetti shop La Loggia. We had lunch there and everything was delicious, the chickpea soup is gluten-free and delicious. We met the manager briefly, he is very busy, he takes care of the rooms and the restaurant, but very kind. For parking I recommend the parking lot near the park with white lines.

Really recommended to eat! Small menu, authentic dishes that taste very good!!! Very hospitable!

Family lunch, all delicious!! We had appetizers from the lodge, tagliatelle with ragù, wild boar and pirate! More than recommended!

Ottimo cibo: tagliolini al ragù toscano deliziosi e la torta alle mele squisita. Proprietario molto simpatico e gentilissimo personale. Da provare!

Locale caratteristico tenuto in modo impeccabile, personale accogliente così come il proprietario e la sua famiglia, cibo ottimo cucinato da Antonella, perfetta cuoca e cordiale, sempre sorridente...Che dire di più, tutto ottimo... consiglio a chiunque di fermarsi li anche solo per un caffè e una fetta di torta di mele.

The owners are very nice, the environment is nice and clean, specializing in first courses which they make with excellent products and the care of home cooking. I had lunch with a client and we enjoyed 2 fantastic sea carbonaras, abundant and rich in fresh fish and I say this as a fisherman, followed by a fantastic apple pie made by them, coffee and water... I forgot that we started with a welcome tasting offered by the hostess of bruschetta seasoned with the excellent local oil, a friend told me about an excellent first course on wild boar. We spent 34 euros between 2 of us, therefore a truck stop price and 4 star quality. All in the small village which is still served by a convenient car park 100 meters away. Very highly recommended.

Great food and service. If you are in the area and want to sit down and be treated well, this is the place for you.

Quick spaghetti express, friendly and very welcoming. Only for lunch.
