Location: wonderful, in a small village, it seems to be immersed in another era. It's worth going just for the atmosphere.
Staff: Always been served by a friendly waiter.
Food: good, but considering the place I expected much more. Below average, considering the price.

We chose this splendid venue to celebrate my fiftieth birthday, and we left truly thrilled. The village in which La locandiera is located is already delightful, and the place is a blast from the past, a memory of childhood and medieval taverns with earthenware plates and glasses. The food is excellent, traditional cuisine and authentic flavours, the courgette, potato and provola pie is an absolute must-try. The piglet, a slice of pork cooked in the oven with butter and Montoro onion is an unexpected and too good dish, to be the final dish.
