My family and I had a wonderful weekend in Umbria, dining here on Saturday evening. I must say the food was truly excellent, both meat and lake fish. The Cappellacci and baked trout were special. The service was professional and unobtrusive, and the staff were delightful. I highly recommend it and we'll be back soon.

What can I say? A group of 12 of us stayed overnight on the evening of October 18, 2025. After a FABULOUS dinner, we had a fantastic time, everything was perfect. Excellent value for money, I personally recommend it.

The food was average, a bit pricey for a slice of beef with a side of buttered spinach, and you could drink a can of Fanta. Total €29. The exterior needs a bit of a facelift, and perhaps the interior is full of cobwebs.

We just ate: I had homemade pasta with trout, my son had grilled steak... truly excellent quality. The atmosphere was homey and welcoming.

We went to the restaurant. It was lovely. It offers nice grilled trouts and pizzas. It it located just next to a pond. The service was efficient and warm. The red house wine was very good. Recommended.

30/01/2026: My boyfriend and I had a great time. They have a completely gluten-free menu. I had the pumpkin flan, the risotto, and for dessert, the pear with vanilla ice cream. I loved all three dishes. Good value for money, excellent location because it's in one of the main squares.

25/01/2026: The pizza is undoubtedly the restaurant's strong point: light dough, well-cooked, and quality ingredients. Truly excellent, one of the best I've had recently. Unfortunately, however, the rest of the experience wasn't up to par. The service was a bit distracted... Even the ambiance, while pleasant, didn't leave a lasting impression. In short, recommended if you come exclusively for the pizza, which is truly worth it, but there's still room for improvement elsewhere.
14/01/2026: Saturday at Balsone del Lupo was a truly beautiful evening, one that stays with you. A welcoming, authentic environment, where you immediately feel at home, and an atmosphere curated with love and attention. You can feel the love for what you do, in the details, in the smiles, in the way people are welcomed. Music, company, and the right vibes: one of those evenings that are good for the soul, without the need for excess. Thank you for creating such a genuine and human space, where feeling good is natural. I'll be happy to return 🌿
