Just outside the center of San Quirico d'Orcia is this restaurant which pleasantly welcomed us with courtesy and professionalism, allowing us to savor truly excellent dishes. For those in the area it's really worth it.

Ottimo Ristorante,
servizio molto cortese e pietanze sapientemente cucinate, i sapori veri che ti aspetti in Toscana e che qui trovi tutti.
Fusilli di farro al pesto di erbette del luogo e risotto ai funghi, faraona e maialino, crostone toscano, dolce del soldato, lasciano tutti sapori intensi e delicati insieme.
Luciano gran cuoco, sapiente il suo tocco, qua bisogna tornare..

Impeccable experience…
Excellent service and selection of wines paired with the dishes. The dishes are those of the Tuscan tradition but with that pinch of sprint that doesn't hurt. The lamb rump was simply divine.

Una cena di capodanno con la mia compagna coi fiocchi. Il locale è molto carino e curato. Abbiamo ordinato delle ottime tagliatelle al ragù Toscano per primo: molto buone, sia per la pasta che per il loro ottimo ragù. Sono rimasto esterrefatto dalla bontà del costoleccio di cinta senese affumicato: delizioso. La mia compagna, invece, ha ordinato un filetto di cinta senese con riduzione di prugne, che ha molto gradito.
I dolci che abbiamo ordinato, a base di formaggi, sono delle chicche inaspettate. Lo staff e il proprietario, mio compaesano, danno quel tocco di cordialità che non deve mancare mai nel mondo della ristorazione.
Se ripasseremo di qui torneremo sicuramente!

Warm and welcoming environment. A gentleman of Apulian origins and a beautiful Neapolitan girl welcome the customers and make them feel at ease (you can feel the southern touch. It's not parochialism but observation). Tagliolini with scorzone truffle and mushroom risotto worthy of a standing ovation. Really good desserts (I highly recommend the dessert cheeses. They deserve it!). Scents of good dishes accompany the evening at all times. A well-deserved round of applause for the chef.
