🌿 A true oasis just minutes from the highway. We were looking for a place to stop for lunch and then head off, but we found ourselves in a corner of beauty and hospitality. The veranda won us over immediately: thoughtful details like the fresh basil on the table, the amphorae, and the hanging baskets create a warm and original atmosphere. 🍝 The food? Simply delicious. The orecchiette were a true masterpiece. 👨‍👩‍👧‍👦 A wonderful family welcomed us with kindness and passion. Highly recommended for those seeking quality, warmth, and an experience that goes beyond the simple. It's a shame we couldn't enjoy the excellent wine due to the driving.

La Locanda di Felisiano is another hidden gem in Puglia. The restaurant was set up at what once was workers quarters on a tomato farm. The types of baskets previously used by these workers are used as lighting decor throughout the restaurant. Additionally, throughout the restaurant’s ceiling, one can see holes used to install hooks to dry tomatoes previously. The manager showed us a sample of the seafood freshly caught from the sea nearby used to prepare several of the dishes available. We ordered a seafood salad which was delicious and very refreshing. We each ordered different meals consisting of pasta with seafood. We additionally ordered a platter of fried seafood to share. The dessert was above average. Finally, we ended the evening with a homemade limoncello. The food was fresh and extremely flavorful and the restaurant’s rustic atmosphere really created an excellent dining experience!

A spectacular place, very very good food and great service.

We ate quite well and I recommend it especially to foreigners. There are some points that in my opinion were out of place. 1) The appetizers: €15 x 2 (so €30) for 5 courses: 2 ricottas, 4 slices of capocollo (it seemed like a really ridiculous amount to me), a parmigiana (excellent), a cup of octopus with carrots and celery (this portion was also ridiculous) and the cornetti (peppers) with fresh tomato. In short, I wouldn't get them again because the quality/quantity/price ratio is too unbalanced. 2) fresh pasta with crab: very good. A little too oily, but good. 10 grams more of pasta wouldn't have hurt. Fair price. Just one note: the plates at the next table were overflowing compared to ours and that's not good. 3) The focaccia, bread and tarallini were super (and I say this as a Pugliese). Well done, I asked for a second helping and they obliged. Even though from the photos I see in other reviews it seemed there were also meatballs. All in all a good experience and a beautiful, traditional and fresh place, but, I repeat, I recommend it to foreigners. Another piece of advice: menus must be published by law, do not neglect this aspect.

The location is a hymn to true and authentic Puglia, with wicker baskets, olive trees and figs everywhere, surrounded by the tranquility of the surrounding countryside and yet with the sea clearly visible in the distance. Good choice of wines and I really found the idea of ​​offering the. Mixed menu: meat and fish, to highlight the variety of Puglian cuisine, excellent. A truly satisfying experience, not only for the palate but also for the emotional warmth of the landscape. A little expensive in my opinion perhaps. But nothing else to say.
