10/01/2026: I hope this is a constructive review.
I have to say the location is truly beautiful, the service perfect, but with such a refined restaurant you can't put mortadella in the appetizer, raw risotto with tasteless fish. It's a shame because the eye wants its part (the location is beautiful), but the food is important.
06/01/2026: Casanova restaurant is located in the heart of Alberobello and was a delightful discovery.
The dining room is large, spacious, and completely renovated, furnished in perfect Apulian style with a refined, modern touch. The beautiful fireplace is particularly charming, making the space warm and welcoming.
The service is friendly, punctual, and attentive, without being intrusive.
The food is truly delicious, and the portions are generous.
We chose the antipasto, which includes five courses, with a selection of typical Apulian dishes: local cured meats and cheeses, focaccia, fava beans, and prawns with asparagus and mashed potatoes. Everything was excellent and beautifully presented.
Next, we ordered orecchiette with turnip greens, which cost €13 for a truly generous portion, and eliche pasta with tomato sauce, priced at €15, which were also very generous.
The €23 antipasto is designed for two people, so it's excellent value. The prices are absolutely in line, in fact probably lower than other restaurants in the center, considering the quality and quantity of the dishes.
A very positive note: the restaurant is pet-friendly. Our dog was immediately brought a clean water bowl, a thoughtful touch that really makes a difference.
A restaurant that combines tradition, flavor, and a refined atmosphere. Highly recommended for those who want to eat well in Alberobello without sacrificing quality (and for those traveling with their four-legged friend 🐾).
