The ideal place for those who want to enjoy high-quality meat dishes. The mixed appetizers included delicious cured meats, cheeses, and carpaccio. For the main courses, three cuts of truly excellent meat were served. The service was impeccable, and the bill was adequate for what we enjoyed!

Very intimate place. Gorgeous. Superb food. From the bruschetta to the carpaccio, to the truly superb meat! Excellent wine list. Simone, the owner, is not only super kind and courteous, but also a true expert in his craft. He can also recommend the best pairings for various alcoholic beverages. We'd been wanting to try this restaurant for a while, with high expectations that were fully met. For starters, we ordered wagyu beef carpaccio with porcini mushrooms, brisa carpaccio with limoncello mayonnaise, and bruschetta with meatballs in tomato sauce. All delicious, and the carpaccios exceeded expectations. For the main course, we ordered two sirloin steaks, one Piedmontese Fassona and one Prussian (per the owner's recommendation), about 800 grams of meat (keep in mind that sirloin steaks require at least 400 grams). They were also delicious. The side dish of broccoli and porcini mushrooms was truly remarkable. We paired everything with Barbera wine. We finished with two desserts (tiramisu and cheesecake), which were good but average compared to the rest of the menu. The service was very courteous and helpful. Total price was €160, a substantial amount but still consistent with the quality and sophistication.

FORTE - Terra, sole, passione

23/12/2025: A small place but big on flavors—the ancient, local, humble ones—that express the soul of old Vibo Valentia cuisine brought to Rome and that make you feel at home. My mother's cooking. Meatballs or eggplant, water and flour fritters, a delight. Monte Poro cheeses, Tropea onions, nduja, the one truly from Spilinga. Capicollo and soppressata. Many other delicacies that I list in Italian, but in this place, in addition to the flavors, you'll find the typical dialect names. Wash it all down with an excellent Cirò and you'll emerge three meters above the sky. If you want a pizza, they've got that too, with excellent beer. You can eat in, take away, or have it delivered. Aperitif, lunch, or dinner—your choice. You can also buy excellent typical products from small local artisanal businesses. The kind and competent staff can tell you about a world of ancient and humble but very substantial flavours.
