They are open for lunch on Sunday... Ate as a group, took the tasting menu: everything was very good, friendly service, relaxed and pleasant atmosphere.

The place is beautiful but in terms of food it doesn't deserve a tasting menu at 40 euros without being able to read the dishes but at the discretion of the chef consisting of two starters, a first course, a second course, dessert, water, wine, coffee, you pay separately. Carne salada good but a summer dish Flan with fondue, dumplings always with fondue and suckling pig. We didn't feel the chef's hand and re-proposing two dishes with fondue for his convenience is not good. The only positive note was that the chef understood our objection, agreed with us and apologised. Tricks don't pay, we won't go there again Good food but nothing special Very good wine Fantastic location

Location molto bella, abbiamo mangiato molto bene e il personale è stato estremamente cortese ed efficiente. Ma…c’è stata una caduta di stile quando, con l’arrivo del caffè, uno di noi ha chiesto una correzione e gli è stato risposto che questa era da pagare a parte! Peccato

Tornati in questo ristorante a distanza di tre anni scegliendo il periodo invernale al posto di quello estivo. Conferma la buona impressione fatta in passato. La cucina è ottima, il personale è gentile. Ottima selezione di vini. Prezzi allineati alla qualità dei piatti. Il locale è molto bello. Qualche piccola imprecisione sul servizio per i tempi di attesa nel prendere l' ordine che molto probabilmente ha causato la non possibilità di ordinare un piatto che risultava esaurito. Nonostante ciò, quello che è stato ordinato era ottimo, pertanto non mi sento di penalizzare il ristorante per questa mancanza. Soprattutto per la simpatia e la gentilezza del cameriere. Bravi.

I add to the other reviews. All very good with excellent quality raw materials. The prices aren't restaurant-like obviously (1 starter and 4 first courses around 80 euros to give you an idea) but excellent food and service. Pets allowed and dishes also gluten-free.

Excellent experience in every respect. Very large inn with attention to detail with a view of the hill that is nothing short of marvelous. Very competent staff present to make diners feel at ease. Nice dishes, excellent and really, really good. Excellent quality and refined raw material. Wines from excellent cellars. Price in line with the excellent service given. HIGHLY RECOMMENDED

12/03/2025: At Roberto's time stops, you appreciate the authentic tastes, the simplicity, the elegance of the essential. Listening to his stories and enjoying his dishes in front of the fireplace while everything around is lit by candles and sweet background music plays is an experience like no other. 12/03/2025: Dear foodies, don’t be confused with the rating of this restaurant, it’s mostly if not totally about atmosphere, music, candles and fireplace. The food is very basic. Course of 5 dishes - plain cut vegetables for starter, beetroot salsa with brusquettas, potatoe gratin with a comment that in this poor area that what ppl would be eating in old days (seems like these days continue) , boiled thin slice of beef again with potatoes and the simplest desert. But if you like to experience nice romantic place , without much expectations for food, you won’t regret.

14/05/2025: Even though I go back often, every time it's always a surprise.. Never anything out of place or not of quality! Carbonara and Amatriciana above most restaurants in Rome, unique aperitifs for their quality / price ratio.. Top wines both in bottles and in bulk and divine coffee.. Last but not least the always impeccable service! What more could you ask for? Initiatives and promotions every week, in this period they do Carbonara and Amatriciana Days, Tuesday and Wednesday for lunch! Book and try, it will become your favorite place as it is for me!
