The portions are excellent and abundant. All the pasta is fresh and homemade. The dishes are tasty and fully reflect the best gastronomic tradition of the area. You should return to taste the many dishes on the menu. The environment is clean and the service is prompt. The staff is attentive and prepared. The house dessert is essential. You leave the table very satisfied.

I was there with a group of friends, there were 13 of us, practically as if Jesus and 12 apostles had been there… The whole group agreed that we ate really well, even though we had different things to choose from What I definitely recommend are the gnocchi, which are exceptional, and the pumpkin tortelli

Excellent trattoria with a menu tied to the best Mantuan tradition. Here you can find dishes that are difficult to find even in the trattorias in the center of Mantua. The staff is very helpful and courteous and the service is precise and punctual. When I have to come to Mantua, a stop at this place is a must. Once you have finished lunch, do not miss a visit to the Sanctuary which is located a few steps from the trattoria.

Locale presente di diverse guide (Slow food et al.). Ma al di là della fama: Ottima cena, polenta e aringhe e poi luccio, seguito da un dolce . il tutto accompagnato da un buon Lambrusco mantovano. Se vogliamo essere puntigliosi ( e me ne scuso): Il budino al cioccolato con zabaione freddo era fin troppo intenso e spegneva un poco lo zabaione stesso. Ma sono dettagli di gusti personali e a molti, mi sembra di capire, va bene così. Servizio attento e prezzi ragionevoli. Penso di tornare, per provare altre cose interessanti nel menu. Che dire? Consigliato.

Ci è stato veramente consigliato bene ,mangiare bene fuori Mantova. Proprietario gentilissimo. Cibo ottimo curatissimo e gustoso. Vino altrettanto buono. Consigliatissimo!

Locanda al Commercio Rolli

08/09/2025: Every year, returning from the mountains, we stop for lunch at this inn. We enjoy the risotto alla pilotta with "puntel" (a type of pasta). I recommend it to everyone. The ingredients are of excellent quality, and the kindness and courtesy are the hallmarks. There are also other local specialties, such as donkey stew and sbrisolona (a type of bread made with raisins). The prices are fair and absolutely reasonable. I highly recommend it to everyone, perhaps with a reservation. You can experience the atmosphere of the ancient inn. The only drawback is that parking isn't always available, as it's on a public road, and the traffic lights are always ready to give you fines. So be careful, but well done. We'll definitely be back next year.
06/09/2025: Very simple, good food. Risotto with sausage was good. Pike and polenta was good, but not much.

01/09/2025: What can I say...a place of memory...a time machine. Everything was perfect. Marco in the dining room is a fantastic host, after a minute he seems like one of the family, and the guys are no different. As for Matteo, the host, it's wonderful to see how much passion he puts into what he does and how much he transmits to the entire team. The tortelli are memorable, the pasta is made on the spot....Bigoli with tomato and basil is excellent despite their simplicity. The lamb au gratin is heartwarming....The desserts are another heartbreaking experience....It may seem banal, but try the SWEET SALAMI and maybe you'll realize that what you've eaten before doesn't even hold up in comparison....Well done!
31/08/2025: Passion and love for what they do have always led to excellent results over time. Everything was delicious, all the dishes were balanced in flavor and beautiful to look at. The staff were professional, kind, and friendly. We'll definitely be back!!!
