La Locanda del Mure' In Chieri

10/10/2025: While visiting Balme, we found this delightful chalet-restaurant and decided to make a reservation for dinner. It's a delightful and welcoming place, both for its simple, warm decor and for its friendly owners. I love these places and persistently seek them out because the authenticity of the setting matches the simplicity and deliciousness of the dishes offered. I wasn't wrong this time either, and we'll definitely be back as soon as possible. The dishes are prepared with love and skill, delicious, and perfect in every way. Piedmontese cuisine at its finest. The house wine is excellent, and the desserts are a treat for the palate. A final consideration (and a very important one for me) is that there's no annoying television or background music. Just pleasant, polite chatter accompanied by the clatter of plates and cutlery. A rare haven of tranquility these days, one that I hope will last until I have the chance to return.
