Informal atmosphere, quick service, and friendly, helpful staff. We dined on traditional dishes with a modern twist. Everything was delicious, especially the porceddu, which was spectacular!

A true gem. Locanda del Mirto is hidden away in tahe backcountry og La Maddalena in a peacefull location. The food is magnificent and the service is friendly and attentative. The amothsphere is so cosy with both indoor and outdoor dining and small private cabanas. We had the suckling pig and Angus dry aged beef which was to die for but the menu is so varied that you will find something for everybody. Best food experience on our vacation by far. Not cheap but worth every penny.

The place is very nice, but the evening wasn't pleasant because it was very hot, and strangely, they seated us at a table inside even though there was room outside, which we would have preferred. The prices are decidedly high, especially considering the very small portions. The dishes are good. The atmosphere and the table are well-kept, but the service is slow and unwelcoming.

A magical location on the island of La Maddalena
The products offered are truly excellent, although the traditional Sardinian dishes are slightly priced at a premium.
Service is a bit slow, but that's due to the high traffic at certain times.
Worth trying again!
