We arrived at Locanda del mare (2 couples) based on a memory of mine from years ago. To the 5 stars we must add a lot, a lot of courtesy and empathy. Excellent food and delicious rooms. Thank you very much and see you next time, Gabriele and Marilena.

Splendid location, cuisine not too sophisticated but a little too expensive...

October 2024 - 2 nights + 1 dinner: We came across this address by chance while looking for a restaurant. The restaurant, the ambience was so nice that we looked at a room and immediately fell in love with the place. The director, from Brescia, northern Italy, runs the establishment excellently, something I have NEVER seen in my 30 years of experience in Sardinia. Rooms: new, large bathroom with heating in sea colors, excellent mattresses and pillows, most loving decoration, beautiful colors, with a view of the sea from every window. The dinner was excellent. Solid, fresh cuisine, a little more expensive than the average in Sardinia but the place is unique, right on the beach and is well above average and only has a few places. Everything is solid, clean and dignified. The breakfast was wonderful! The staff very friendly and professional. I hope I have the opportunity to spend a few days there again soon. This restaurant hotel was the cozy highlight on our 2-week tour of Sardinia. Paradise on earth :-) Nice thoughts from Switzerland to Sardinia!

Were here on a Sunday afternoon. Very nice service. There was even a small aperitivo offered. Unfortunately, the bill afterwards spoiled our stay a bit: 9.50 euros!!!! For half an Ichnusa (5dl) on tap, that's too much of a good thing. When the waiter asked whether it was perhaps a mistake, he was only able to apologize for what he considered to be an exorbitant price. It's a shame about what was otherwise such a great experience!

We ate here twice during our holiday in Castelsardo. The trip was worth it every time. Top service and top food. Prices, like everywhere else, are quite high.
