The croquettes are delicious, but the Spaghetti Vongole is orgasmic! If I return to Naples, I won't hesitate to come here for lunch.

The pizzas are good, generous, and among the largest we've had in Naples! The Spritz was delicious and perfectly balanced. The terrace is quiet and pleasant, ideal for enjoying the meal. The staff is very friendly and attentive: the waiter even took the time to exchange a few words with us.

Today, my students and I had the pleasure of visiting La Locanda del Grifo pizzeria, and the experience was simply unforgettable. The pizza is a true masterpiece: fragrant, perfectly cooked, and made with the freshest ingredients that bring out every single flavor. Every bite is a journey through the authentic flavors of Neapolitan tradition. The staff was incredibly kind, welcoming, and attentive to our every need, immediately putting us at ease with their sincere and warm courtesy. This made the lunch not only delicious, but also very enjoyable. The beauty of the location is another element that makes this pizzeria special: it is located next to one of the city's most historic sites, the splendid church of Santa Maria alla Pietra Santa, with its majestic historic bell tower, which gives the place a unique and evocative atmosphere. My students were thrilled not only with the quality of the pizza, but also with the opportunity to immerse themselves in a corner of Naples rich in culture and beauty. I highly recommend La Locanda del Grifo to anyone who wants to enjoy excellent pizza in a historic and welcoming setting – an experience that enhances both the palate and the spirit!

Excellent pizzas, impeccable service. The terrace is pleasant and quiet. It was recommended to us, and we were not disappointed. Very good value for money. Go there without hesitation.

Everything was spectacular, the food was super excellent, especially the pizza, which was really delicious!

I had delicious pasta with clams, and the staff was very kind and helpful. Everything was perfect!

We ordered risotto and grilled octopus. The octopus was delicious, but the risotto lacked flavor. The service was very good, accommodating and attentive. We dined outside; the only problem was that there were people smoking next to us, and they were very close. They could have divided the patio for smokers and non-smokers.

Very good restaurant. On the recommendation of the receptionist at the Neapolis Hotel, we came for dinner on our last night and had no regrets. Everything was very good, the spaghetti was delicious and the pork chop excellent. Remember to book.

We were in Naples with my family for 5 days and luckily we found it right away... lunch and dinner every day so we could try a good portion of their menu... you can't just eat enough!!! Kindness and friendliness are the added value. Thank you for everything.... Hugs from Sardinia

Locanda del Grifo was such a great find right in the heart of Naples’ Old Town. It was recommended to us by some art merchants on Via Port’Alba, where we had just bought a few local street artworks, and it turned out to be the perfect choice. The restaurant is tucked away under the shade of an ancient tower, which gives it a cool and charming atmosphere. It feels like a true little Neapolitan tavern. We had a spectacular eggplant parmigiana and some delicious spaghetti alla Nerano, perfectly creamy and flavorful. The Burma spritz was excellent (these days you can find a good one everywhere in Naples), and we also saw some amazing fried pizzas coming out of the kitchen – tempting for next time! It’s the kind of place to go when you don’t necessarily want pizza but still want authentic local food. The staff was extremely kind and welcoming, and prices, as often in Naples, were more than fair. Highly recommended – we’ll definitely be back.
