Delicious food. The breaded prawns were excellent, and both Congolese pasatas, with and without lemon cream, were delightful. You have to go up some stairs to eat inside. Attentive and friendly service.

I have had a few pizzas in Italy and this restaurant is up there with the best! Typically friendly service and an amazing pizza for an extremely reasonable price

While touring Naples on a beautiful day, we stumbled upon this place by chance. It immediately struck us as interesting. Among so many pizzerias and restaurants, this one stood out, unpretentious, with a touch of elegance and tranquility. Despite the time and the crowds—we showed up after 2:30 PM—we were immediately seated and served with great kindness and speed. The red wine by the glass was excellent—Taurasi and Primitivo. We ordered grilled calamari on a cream of chickpeas with seafood; grilled octopus with vegetables; and gnocchi with cream of broccoli (turnip greens) and provola cheese. The dishes were stunning, both in terms of presentation and flavor. We saw some very inviting classic and stuffed pizzas, which, according to the people around us, must have been truly excellent! We'll try them next time. Special mention to Antonio and Marianno for their kindness and professionalism. Their prices are fair and more than adequate for the excellent quality of their products. A lovely discovery. We'll definitely be back.

Without a doubt, one of the best gastronomic experiences in the heart of Naples. La Locanda del Grifo is a guarantee for those seeking authentic quality. The pizza is simply delicious and surprisingly light. It's the true "cartwheel" pizza, as it was once made and as it should always be, thin and generous in size. A return to the origins that are hard to find done so well today. But it's not just pizza: every dish we tried was phenomenal. You can clearly taste the fresh, high-quality ingredients, treated with respect. If you're unsure, let them advise you on the daily specials—they never fail! Special praise goes to the staff: despite the pace of the historic center, they were always attentive, helpful, and smiling. The prices are absolutely reasonable, very fair considering the excellence of the food and the location. Highly recommended for those who want to eat well, authentically, and with quality. 5 stars well deserved!

A restaurant always worth returning to. On our first night, we had pizza, and it was one of the best we've ever had—large and well-topped, with a perfect, light crust. We had to return to try the food, and I must say it didn't disappoint. The appetizers were delicious, but the real highlight was the pasta with clams, which I'll still dream about when I get home.
