A description isn't enough to explain what the Locanda is like; it's literally an experience to be lived! The atmosphere, the magical aroma from the oven, the simple decor of a small business that embraces everything with a big heart, the attentive and friendly service, the historic center surrounding it, where a very long convivial table is set up that can seat at least 20 people, and if you so desire, you can even get to know your neighbor. And then there's Tonio, the owner, who, after finishing the pizzas, comes out to greet his customers with something beautiful and magical to tell! Last but not least, the pizzas, uniquely delicious. Try them and believe them, because some experiences must be lived literally by heart!

Best freaking pizza place in my life. I don't even know where to start, maybe the rustic authentic feel as though Italy was frozen in the 50s. Or perhaps how the kindness of the staff was so infectious it bled into the customers always making sure to greet you ( not even my own family say hello and bye as much as this ). Knowing it's family run is amazing too. An endless choice of pizzas something for everyone and if there's nothing that's too your fancy, don't worry they're more than happy to accommodate. I had the Deliziosa with mushrooms and would greatly recommend. I think my senses were overload with joy. My tastes buds tingly, my ears relaxed, the smell gorgeous. It was impossible not to finish it all in once and then burst into a fit of laughter, like a true Italian man getting fat on food and beer 🍻 🍕

An evening at Locanda del Convento in Santu Lussurgiu was much more than just a simple dinner. The unique hospitality of Mr. Antonio and his sister created a magical, family-like atmosphere, transforming a meal into a truly shared experience. The pizza, made with authentic, local ingredients, was the star of the show, but the true heart of the evening was the conviviality: a long table where strangers became friends, in a moment of pure, authentic Sardinian hospitality.

I wish I could have this pizzeria close to where I live. The pizzas are incredible, the best I've had in Italy. And the service from the chef, the father, and his daughter, who is a waitress, is top-notch. The daughter speaks several languages and served us extremely well. I recommend it 100%. We did sit at the shared table outside with other people because we hadn't made a reservation, but the atmosphere was pleasant and we met some great people.

Without a reservation, they served us despite being 95% full. The Marias and their aunts and nieces were delightful. The boss's daughter is multilingual, so you'll definitely be able to communicate with her. Everyone was very friendly. The pizzas were DELICIOUS!!! I highly recommend them. The prices were quite good, and there was no cover charge.

A very good pizza. Typical Italian, very well-priced, handmade in a wood-fired oven. You have to take your time, as it can take an hour between sitting down and your drink arriving, and another hour between the drink and your meal. But other than that, it's excellent.

Locale accogliente, proprietario amichevole e gentilissimo, pizza eccezionale. Acqua gratuita da fonte e nn si paga il coperto.. non vedo l ora di poter tornare

Questo luogo ti porta in atmosfere del passato. La location è semplice ed accogliente, nascosta tra i vicoli da esplorare e dove l'ottima pizza viene servita in modo essenziale con i sapori del territorio. La filosofia che porta i commensali a stare insieme e socializzare è assolutamente vincente. Complimenti a Tonio e sorella.
