Premesso che non si tratta di un locale in cui si pranza o cena perché uno ci capita davanti: la scelta è stata dettata dalla curiosità suscitata dall'aver letto qualche recensione particolare. Il locale è semplice e ha una ventina di coperti! Il menù comprende del pescato del giorno proposto ai commensali dopo aver ben specificato il prezzo al kilo ed il modo in cui lo si può cuocere. La signora è gentile e disponibile e indica anche tempi di attesa della portata. Ho mangiato dei ravioli di baccalà conditi con stoccafisso e olive taggiasche: ottima cottura ! Poi orata al forno alla Ligure di ca un kilo e mezzo : sublime ed ovviamente abbondante come portata visto che eravamo in due a tavola!Il tutto accompagnato da un piacevole prosecco della casa. Il prezzo in linea con la qualità del cibo servito. Per la cena vi consiglio vivamente di prenotare! Io ci torno sicuramente.

I was in Vado Ligure for work. After reading some reviews on TripAdvisor, I passed by this restaurant and something struck me: the interior was nice, few tables, quiet atmosphere. I entered. The owner welcomed us. He showed us a tray of fresh fish, from which we chose what was then cooked in the oven, with potatoes and thyme. The dish was sublime, well done, with a balance of flavors that needs no additions. One thing I really appreciated was the quiet environment. Today it often happens that we sit in restaurants where the acoustics are so chaotic that it prevents a conversation or even just enjoying lunch. Not here: you eat in peace. I'm pleased to leave this review because finding excellent restaurants, where work is done with attention, is becoming rare. This is one of those places to remember.

Mi trovavo a Vado Ligure per lavoro. Dopo aver letto qualche recensione su TripAdvisor, sono passata davanti a questa trattoria e qualcosa mi ha colpita: l’interno era curato, pochi tavoli, atmosfera tranquilla. Sono entrata. Ad accoglierci, la proprietaria. Ci ha mostrato un vassoio di pesce fresco, da cui abbiamo scelto quello che è poi stato cucinato al forno, con patate e timo. Il piatto era sublime, ben fatto, con un equilibrio di sapori che non ha bisogno di aggiunge. Una cosa che ho apprezzato molto è l’ambiente silenzioso. Oggi capita spesso di sedersi in ristoranti dove l’acustica è talmente caotica da impedire una conversazione o anche solo di godersi il pranzo. Qui no: si mangia in pace. Mi fa piacere lasciare questa recensione perché trovare ristoranti eccellenti, dove si lavora con attenzione, sta diventando raro. Questo è uno di quei posti da ricordare.

The place is small and welcoming, the staff friendly and professional. The food... Very generous portions, but really a lot and of excellent quality, I recommend the trofie with scampi to everyone which are superb. Overall, it's worth it without a doubt. The cost is proportionate to quantity and quality. Starter, first course and dessert around 40 euros each with water, wine and coffee Edit 2025 After a few years the quality/price ratio has definitely dropped, we spend more and eat worse. Food without infamy and without praise but demanding prices. The courtesy remained. Sin.

Beautiful place, the owner has her own reason, she knows how to do it, very fresh quality fish and at a good price, I highly recommend 😀
