Ristorante situato alle pendici del Castello di Montecuccolo. Location davvero suggestiva. Cucina tipica del luogo, con variazioni a "tema". Personale molto gentile e competente, attivo nel settore da svariati decenni.

The location is wonderful, within the walls of the Montecuccolo Castle, where you can breathe history but where you can also experience for a moment the peace and serenity of the Modenese Apennines. When you walk through the entrance to the inn it is difficult not to be enchanted by the beauty of the interiors, whose decorations seem to speak to you and the stone walls separate you from the world. The welcome is impeccable as is the service that follows you from start to finish in the right ways and times. The staff is kind and polite but confident like old friends with whom you meet up after a long time to eat and talk. As for the menu, it is simply perfect from appetizers to desserts, with typical dishes of the area and ingredients of the highest quality. Each dish is absolutely delicious, literally mouth-watering, as is the wine with which it is impossible to go wrong. Good and honest prices within the reach of "mere mortals". This review may seem "exaggeratedly positive" but it is not written by a critic of some magazine or by one of their relatives... it is written by a fisherman and history enthusiast who has traveled around Italy and eaten in countless trattorias, taverns and restaurants since north to south, so trust me because it's all true.

Very nice little place with delicious cuisine. From the first tagliatelle with venison to the crescentine with wild boar sauce and up to the fresh ricotta with jam, a riot of flavours. Price normal. It is advisable to book as it is only open on weekends

pranzo della domenica in compagnia. Location meravigliosa, cibo delizioso, servizio pessimo, lambrusco scadente ad un prezzo allucinante.

Abbiamo cenato, 4 persone, con prenotazione. Tutto quello che abbiamo ricevuto è stato ottimo. Un piccolo inconveniente in cucina è stato sistemato in modo brillante ed elegante. Idromele a km0 molto buono. Consigliato!
