Monday evening so quiet night, hence score on atmosphere, not a criticism. Food was really excellent, well presented & tasty. It is definitely lives up to fine dining experience.

Elegant, refined and wonderful restaurant; unique and beautiful location, the Roman excavations are the setting; excellent gourmet cuisine, selected and refined dishes offered in delicious dishes; cuisine aimed at gourmets with a refined palate. Compliments to the chef. Avoid going in if you think of "restaurant food". Quality does not go together with quantity. Impeccable service with great availability of proposed waters and wines. Also very good by the glass. The price is right for the location and quality service offered. Amazing cellar with excellent selection of wines. I repeat recommended only for connoisseurs.

We chose to return to this place because, in our opinion, it is the best restaurant in Assisi. The food is great, the staff is attentive, courteous and knowledgeable and the place is really beautiful.

Assisi ci accoglie con il suo calore e con la sua magia Giriamo la città stupiti da quello che ci circonda Lo stupore aumenta entrando in questo ristorante dove veniamo accolti da una delicata gentilezza La cena ottima , si sente la mano di un giovane Chef che ama il suo lavoro ed osa Il tutto ci lascia con la voglia di ritornare

A disappointing experience in every respect. The prices are excessively high compared to the quality of the food (each course is over €30), which is mediocre and lacking in character. The menu is not attractive and the quality of the product is average. The restaurant has a nice structure, but the atmosphere is desolate, with the place practically empty with forgettable songs from the early 2000s at very high volume. I definitely wouldn't recommend it.

11/07/2025: While organizing a motorbike tour with friends, I booked a table at this restaurant where I had already been. It was perfect. The guys complimented me on how we were "pampered." I pass on the compliments to the managers. Thank you.

24/06/2025: Trattoria Santucci is one of those places that stays in your heart. The atmosphere is welcoming, the staff is kind, helpful and smiling, and each dish tells a story of tradition and passion for good food. We had the pleasure of tasting different courses, all delicious: from the tasty and well-prepared appetizers, to the second course of meat with porcini mushrooms, very tender and tasty, up to the tiramisu, which melted in the mouth with an incredible lightness. A detail that particularly struck us was when, after asking for a large carbonara, they brought us a second course for free, without us even asking. A gesture that shows how much attention and care they have for customers. The dishes taste like real home cooking, the one made with fresh ingredients and recipes handed down, where every flavor has its reason. It's not just eating well, it's feeling welcomed and pampered. Highly recommended for those looking for authenticity, quality and a service that goes beyond expectations. We will definitely be back!
