Assisi ci accoglie con il suo calore e con la sua magia Giriamo la città stupiti da quello che ci circonda Lo stupore aumenta entrando in questo ristorante dove veniamo accolti da una delicata gentilezza La cena ottima , si sente la mano di un giovane Chef che ama il suo lavoro ed osa Il tutto ci lascia con la voglia di ritornare

A disappointing experience in every respect. The prices are excessively high compared to the quality of the food (each course is over €30), which is mediocre and lacking in character. The menu is not attractive and the quality of the product is average. The restaurant has a nice structure, but the atmosphere is desolate, with the place practically empty with forgettable songs from the early 2000s at very high volume. I definitely wouldn't recommend it.

We stayed at the cardinal's inn located in a historic building in the center of Assisi. The location is very elegant and particular. We opted for the "Incontri" tasting menu paired with a bottle of local wine, a high-level culinary experience, everything exquisite and with attention to the smallest details, even the presentation. The passion of the chefs could be felt in their dishes, I hope they get a Michelin star because they deserve it all. The staff were very kind and professional, careful to satisfy our every little request. At the end of lunch we visited the cellar and the ruins of the palace with the historical mosaics. It was wonderful and I highly recommend it.

Beautiful place, Christmas atmosphere, everything super nice... risotto with no flavor... meat to be improved... expectations in a place like this are high!

06/10/2024: Se vuoi trovare vero tartufo condito da professionalità, cortesia e gentilezza vai a Pettino....e quando uscirai dall ristorante dirai ...HO SCIALATO !
17/08/2024: Come sempre la cucina si sente che è casereccia e ben fatta, prosciutto tagliato a coltello formaggi molto buoni Parliamo degli strangozzi al tartufo ( in realtà sono tagliatelle fine) ma sono fatte a mano con la pasta come piace a me ben condite e con tanto di quel tartufo da meritarsi l Oscar L’ agnello allo scottadito merita. Merita tutto. Per La cottura, abbondanza e per la genuinità Spezzatino D’Agnello buono un’abbondante porzione anch’esso pieno di tartufo! Insomma vale davvero la pena provare Unica nota dolente il conto 94€ in due Forse eccessivo 15€ l antipasto Eccessivo 1,50 il caffè ed eccessivo il costo dell’acqua considerando che sei in un agriturismo sperduto nel nulla e non al grand hotel a Roma centrale Ci tornerei?! Probabilmente sì anche se debbo dire che il conto pesa!

12/03/2025: Family lunch with dog in tow. Everything excellent, very high quality ingredients. The bruschettas are really delicious, especially the one with the exceptional tartare! I would go back just to eat 10 more! Excellent truffle strangozzi and excellent meat too, we tried the pork stew which melted in your mouth and the excellent skewer! Special desserts, very good! Fair quality/price ratio.
02/03/2025: The place is nice, even if the table where we were sitting was dimly lit (the spotlight was pointing at the blow-up of the chef). The service was mixed (the waitress was rather cold and mechanical, the waiter was much friendlier; they forgot to bring us the bread - which was excellent - and we had to ask for it), the wait at the table was very long (partially understandable: it was Sunday lunch), luckily the dishes were all to our liking, demonstrating expertise in the combination of flavors and creativity while respecting tradition. Portions are not excessive, which was ideal for us as we get full easily. Therefore the general opinion is positive, with the intention of returning on a weekday, if there is the opportunity. Prices aligned with the quality of the dishes offered.
