La Locanda del Borgo In Pietralunga

A wonderful place surrounded by greenery and tranquility. The rooms are clean and well-kept, the furnishings are exquisite. Manuele, the owner, is always available to make his guests feel at home and pampered. A special place.

Beautiful old, original building. Living room/kitchen and bedroom, with a spacious balcony (great for summer). The bed was terrible: if you turn over, the rest of the hotel is awake too. It's a shame breakfast had to be ordered in advance. It's also quite a walk to the village for dinner.

My wife Anna and I were cycling through Umbria and stopped at the inn for a night. Manuele, the manager, is incredibly kind and helpful. We chatted about the beautiful surroundings and our past. From our perspective, the inn is stunning, with an air of times gone by, almost like a small, well-maintained castle. The rooms are excellent, and the breakfast room has a beautiful fireplace. Breakfast was plentiful, and check-in and check-out were seamless. Pietralunga is one of those villages I call "children of a lesser god." It's lesser-known compared to the more famous nearby towns, but there's a truly ancient feel to this small medieval village, complete with a few gems such as the Lombard fortress and the 8th-century Parish Church of Santa Maria. The inn and Borgo di Pietralunga are highly recommended.

Very nice rooms. Newly renovated. Good breakfast. Very friendly service. Pleasant overnight stay.

Lovingly furnished, spacious rooms with everything you could wish for. We were able to safely store our e-bikes in the house and charge the batteries.

Excellent accommodation on the Way of St. Francis. Very helpful host, beautifully renovated old manor house, 10-minute walk to the small but very lively and charming old town.
