The 4 stars are for the owner's thoughtfulness and friendliness. The inn could be better maintained, but it's still welcoming. It's perhaps a little basic, but it's fine for the type of trip.

A welcoming structure with a family atmosphere from another era, recommended.

I stayed one night in this structure for the realization of the path of St. Francis in the first days of June, starting from the Sanctuary of La Verna and stopping, after really hard work but at the same time happy to have lived an unforgettable experience, in this place as a second stop, reaching the perched village of Pietralunga, between Umbria and Marche. The stay, although short, was exceptional! From the warm welcome at check-in, to the check-out the following morning, everything was managed with care, attention, care, kindness, courtesy and super availability, Manuele is the perfect host: present, discreet, jovial, genuine, ready to respond to any request, a real family-like welcome. Beautiful and functional apartment, spacious and clean and above all quiet, tastefully decorated rooms (it is worth highlighting the presence of books both in the room and in the common areas 😉). A short walk takes you to the historic village, among alleys, views, shops and good places to have lunch/dinner (thanks to Manuele for the suggestion of Locanda Fiorucci, excellent dinner!!). In the morning, excellent breakfast, organized and abundant with quality products and a wide choice of fresh homemade stuff, sweet and savory (cakes, bread, fruit), served in a large room on the ground floor. Wonderful place, immersed in nature in a relaxing and clean place, The room was wonderful and the service at the top of the category. Friendliness and availability in everything. Not only will I return but I recommend it to anyone who wants a place to relax outside the chaos of the city.

An oasis of peace and tranquility immersed in lush nature, a few meters from the small village of Pietralunga and a short distance from many splendid locations in the upper Tiber valley. Very kind owner and available to satisfy requests right from the first telephone agreements, as well as recommending places to visit. Our apartment, equipped with everything you needed, had a beautiful terrace overlooking the garden and the surrounding valley. It's a shame that the days were few, we hope to return.
