I chose the first one for the type of pasta, but the sauce (sausage and caciocavallo) was phenomenal. Something fantastic. The peperoni cruschi are made on the spot, which is rare in many other places nowadays.

We really liked the place, we were welcomed with friendliness and we ate very well! Furthermore, inside there are references to Carlo Levi. This place adds to the many beautiful memories we have of Aliano.

Vera cucina tipica con prodotti del territorio e con le mani esperte e professionali della cuoca (moglie del titolare). Tutto buono con antipasti vari e abbondanti, ottimo il primo e la grigliata di agnello con i famosi peperoni cruschi! Buon rapporto qualità e prezzo! Complimenti! Ritorneremo e per chi si trova ad Aliano questa è un ottima locanda, Ve la consiglio!

I happened upon it by chance and it was a great experience. I ate some excellent typical local products. The inn was explained to me that it takes its name from the typical house in Aliano. I highly recommend it.

Abbiamo trascorso una bellissima domenica di carnevale ad Aliano, accompagnata dagli ottimi sapori della cucina della locanda. Tutti prodotti freschi e saporosi, sapientemente cucinati. Ottimo rapporto qualità prezzo.

08/07/2025: You eat very well.... Daily menu with various choices between first courses, side dishes and tasty second courses.. both for prices and for friendliness.. The chef is very good...
21/05/2025: Very welcoming place despite all the disputes that see, at the moment, unacceptable divisions between MATERA AND POTENZA. Excellent quality of the products served and kindness of the staff. This judgment refers to the bar. I did not have lunch, but I intend to do so the next time I pass through that area.

03/09/2025: A great bistro. Fantastic food - fresh, full of flavours. Dish was simple but tasted like from upper level. Delicious! Great staff, professional and helpful. Nice view, quite and calm surrounds. My reccomendation!
01/09/2025: Excellent service, delicious pork shank and chicken fillet and incredible bread meatballs... highly recommended
