As soon as you enter you immediately have the feeling of being at home. The food is delicious, the fresh pasta is excellent, the environment is the backdrop. The only thing I don't recommend is the house white wine (maybe it's not my thing). For the rest, recommended!

Vincenzo ti rubarò tutti i peperoni cruschi :D siamo stati fortunati a trovare posto al "tavolo rotondo" il locale è accogliente ed a gestione familiare, con personale simpatico e la cucina è semplice e genuina. Abbiamo conosciuto la vera essenza della cucina lucana.

Trattoria tipica sita ad Aliano in provincia di Matera, cittadella dove il tempo sembra essersi fermato. Spinti dalla curiosità e dalla voglia di immergerci in un esperienza gastronomica tipica con un tocco di rustica eleganza. Siamo entrati in questo ristorante prenotato in anticipo perché sempre pieno: il motivo è dato dalla cucina povera ma gustosissima, abbiamo ordinato un antipasto all'italiana abbondante, 2 primi cavatelli con peperoni cruschi e mollica fritta, verdure grigliate di contorno ad un abbondante grigliata di carne mista. Bevande acqua Caffè offerto gentilmente. Ottima cucina. Scelta azzeccata .Un posto genuino fatto di gente semplice, cucina di qualità a prezzi nella norma.

Typical place in the center of the town, small but well kept, very clean. Traditional Lucanian dishes, executed to perfection. Forgive them kindly and welcomingly. Simplicity and good taste. Advised.

Excellent cuisine. Simple, traditional and with lots and lots of taste. Not crowded place.

My partner and I had lunch on August 15th in this beautiful place and we had a great time! The menu was fixed. We started with the appetizers (cold cuts, courgette omelette, mini parmigiana, tuna crespella, aubergines and courgettes in oil), the first courses (orecchiette with courgette cream, sausage and cruschi peppers - lasagna) and then moved on to the second courses (meat grill with salad) and to finish, tiramisu and coffee. Excellent food, excellent service, fair price. I highly recommend it!
