I visited here on a tour guide's recommendation. The pizza was decent, and the seafood pasta was delicious! There's seating both inside and outside, and the staff are friendly. Be sure to try the lemon beer!

I would return and recommend this restaurant having been to a number if others over the past few days. They have a lot right, including crisp table dressings, happy smart staff, delicious well presented food and a warm voiced guitar playing singer of classic italian songs. The unrequested recommended chocolate cake with porccini ice cream was delicious. My only quarm is that we felt as though our table was needed as my unfinished drink was taken and the bill placed on the table without us asking for it. Rather an abrupt end to a long day.

Excellent food. Great staff. We wandered in to this restaurant on spec and really enjoyed our dinner here. The quality of the food and its presentation was just first class

I just have to say that they're constantly stopping by your table to ask how everything is. For some it's good, but for others it's annoying. I must say the wine is excellent, and so is the comfort.

Decent place in the heart of Sorrento- but nothing exceptional. We had a Rez, and were seated right away. They provide a couple of bread plates; one with tomato right when you sit which is nice. They have good wine selection and claim to have homemade pasta. The pasta dishes we had were a little too salty, and the lasagna was a little dry and a little burned on top. A nice treat at the end of the meal was a small shot of lemon cello in a frozen glass. They were very pushy about leaving a cash tip when we paid, even though they included the standard service charge in the bill.

Locale in una traversa del centro storico, con posti sia all’aperto che all’interno. Abbiamo trovato un tavolo, anche senza aver prenotato. Abbiamo preferito cenare all’esterno, con vista sul passeggio e i tanti negozietti. Molto soddisfatta della scelta, in particolare per gli gnocchi alla sorrentina davvero buonissimi. E posso dire che sono stati i migliori mangiati in città, rispetto agli altri locali che abbiamo provato. Personale gentile, in particolare il cameriere che ci ha accolti all’ingresso e che poi, durante la cena, era sempre pronto a chiedere se andasse tutto bene. Un piatto di antipasto misto a base di pesce, acqua, un calice di vino, caffè e due primi circa 80 euro.

Sin reserva, pero aunque el restaurante parecía muy ocupado todavía nos encontraron una mesa. Tiene una gran capacidad ya que contiene habitaciones variadas y una zona de callejón cubierto. El ambiente era genial, con el típico personal italiano animado corriendo por la habitación que sirve. Después de un par de cenas italianas pobres en noches anteriores en otros restaurantes Sorrento, fue un placer (y un alivio) deleitarse con una excelente cocina (filete de ternera servido con salsa de pimienta en grano con un lado de papas fritas y risotto de limón). Lo más destacado - no puedo creer que esté escribiendo esto - profiteroles! Normalmente nos negaríamos a un postre, pero ya que me encantó el lugar y su ambiente tanto así que decidió compartir algunos. Normalmente sosos a nuestro gusto, estos profiteroles eran magníficos, los mejores que hemos probado nunca! Iba a añadir que si alguna vez volvíamos a Sorrento volveríamos a ir a La Lanterna pero de hecho, volvimos a ir aquí dos días después y disfrutamos de una experiencia similar. Gracias a todo el personal por una gran experiencia, especialmente el amable servidor que pasó tiempo trabajando en Newcastle.
