A truly authentic Italian atmosphere, delicious food, wonderful service, and live music! We tried three of the desserts and I can't even describe how delicious they were!

The waiters were so welcoming and one could tell that they were just focusing on making everyone have a good time. There was live entertainment and the singer was so sweet and asked everyone what their favorite Italian song was to proceed to sing it for them. Definitely recommend this place and don’t let the rating fool you.

So good! Everything we had (lasagna, lemon pizza, and pasta with meatballs, limoncello, Bellini, and desserts) was very good. Our kids were very impressed also. The fries were also super good.

Cute atmosphere. Helpful servers and AMAZING food. The lemon catch of the day fish is so light and well seasoned. The pizza dough has such good flavour and the sauce is so fresh. We also had the burrata, octopus, and misto. All was so good! Highly recommend!

Ho soggiornato a Sorrento in periodo fuori stagione, dove la maggior parte dei locali è chiusa. Questo locale per fortuna era aperto e le ottime recensioni ci hanno convinto ad andare... che dire, abbiamo scoperto un vero e proprio gioiellino. Locale accogliente, cibo divino e piatti cirati in ogni particolare, staff sempre cortese e sorridente. Da non perdere, la famosa delizia al limone, tipica di Sorrento, ma che qui fanno da veri maestri, se mai tornerò in zona, non mancherò di passare nuovamente di lì! Grazie per aver tenuto il locale aperto, non ci dimenticheremo di voi.

Después de que tuvimos una experiencia desastrosa en otro lugar esa noche, vinimos aquí. ¡La elección fue correcta esta vez! Todo el lugar se sentía como si estuvieras visitando a una familia italiana lejana. El equipo era increíble, la comida era excelente - pizza especialmente. Los postres eran definitivamente geniales, así que era limoncello al final! Sin duda recomiendo.

Ristorante Taverna Verde

15/07/2025: There are several restaurants in the upper part of Ischia, all of which more or less follow the same menu, but each with its own personality. The location is stuck in the '70s, the service professional and courteous. The vegetable appetizer, in my opinion, had too much vinegar, the homemade crocche (normal), the ricotta-stuffed courgette flowers with a hint of lemon (well done, great idea), the bucatini with rabbit, of the highest quality (the fresh piperna added to the dish is a plus), the rabbit served in a coccio (an earthenware dish) is a real taste sensation, and to finish, a truly homemade piperna amaro... it rounds out an Ischian dinner with a very high level of personality. Well done!! Oh, I forgot about the house wine... it needs improving.
13/07/2025: Dining at the Morzariello family's Taverna Verde is an experience you can't miss. It's like being at home, thanks to the kindness and courtesy with which you're treated, and the food is always top-quality. The bucatini with rabbit is unmatched on the island. Thank you Gaeta Family
