I used to go there twenty years ago often on Friday nights.
Now that I live far away after landing at Fiumicino airport I went back. Same experience of courtesy, abundant dishes and quality. Very good fish. I recommend the spaghetti alla pescatora and the pepata di cozze appetizer.

I discovered this place almost 20 years ago, thanks to my in-laws Alfredo and Sandra and even today, since then, it is a guarantee of exquisite and abundant food, professional service and honest prices. Today the shellfish soup and the mixed fried fish were Oscar-worthy! I would say that Mr. Ciro, thanks to his children and grandchildren who run the restaurant, has passed on his tradition admirably.

A truly exceptional culinary experience! La Lampara is a true jewel on the Fiumicino coast: welcoming atmosphere, impeccable service and above all an extraordinary quality of fish. Each dish is prepared with great care and respect for the raw material, from the freshest raw materials to the first courses rich in flavour, up to the second courses cooked to perfection. The selection of wines is also excellent, perfectly paired with the dishes offered. The staff is friendly, professional and always available to recommend the best of the menu. A restaurant that I highly recommend to those looking for authentic seafood cuisine, in an elegant but not pretentious environment. I will definitely be back!
