Stylish bar with a fantastic view and very friendly service. We only had an aperitif here and went back the next day because we liked it so much.

Arriving by chance on an evening in Monticchiello where everything was closed, we received a very kind welcome despite not having booked. Exquisite food above all expectations, excellent wine, impeccable polite and authentic service. There was not a single dish tasted that was not cooked to perfection and with a quality of raw material that is often not found in much more renowned restaurants. I was traveling with my dad who has already decided that on our return to Tuscany in April we will stop again at the guardhouse and Monticchiello, both deliciously authentic Tuscany!

Very pretty little restaurant in a wonderful setting. We ordered wine and received delicious attention from the house. Everything tasted very good. Price-performance is good. A clear recommendation!

Very friendly staff and welcoming place, with the possibility to sit. We had one of the best cappuccinos we've ever had on a cold day. Recommended for anyone visiting this splendid village.

15/12/2024: Famous Siena bar for ricciarelli, just outside Porta Romana on the avenue. Good pastries and coffee.
15/10/2024: Best Pasty shop in Siena. It has a few things that could be improved like viennoise-like pastries (pain au chocolat etc. are 3/5) but overall it is a very pleasant experience. Small cookies and biscuits are amazing 5/5.
