La Grotta Guelfa In Firenze

So delicious! We shared the Steak Florentine for 2 and Lazagna. That was the most beautiful steak I've even seen at a restaurant and cooked to perfection 👌 the lazagna was great as well. Our waiter seemed to be new to waiting and was not good at suggestion wine options but we made do and just drink what he brought us.

Coperto 3 Vongole 19.5 Scottona Ribeye (600g with bone) 29.5 Red House Wine Glass 8 x 2 Cheesecake & Strawberry Syrup 7 58.2 with 30% The Pork - I didn't expect much from the vongole, but it was incredibly delicious. - The clams were generous and well-cooked, so no sand. - I ordered medium, so the steak was cooked perfectly. - The seasoning and meaty flavor were especially great (just what I wanted). - The portions were large, so it took a while to finish, which was a shame. - The desserts seemed to come from frozen, so I didn't expect much. - I was worried about racism, but the waiters were all professional and friendly. There were some negative reviews about the curly-haired waitress, but luckily, I didn't experience any issues, so I guess that's understandable.

My friends and I had dinner on Saturday night at La Grotta Guelfa. We were celebrating my brother's bachelor party. The restaurant is in the city centre of Florence, in a great location next to Repubblica Square. We booked a table for 6 people, and I have to say that we had a great dinner! The staff were kind and friendly. The food was amazing! For my first course, I had a dish called 'tortellacci with poposo on a vegetable cream' that surprised me! Then we shared a classic Fiorentina beef, and it was so tender and really, really good! To finish, I closed the dinner with a delicious dessert. What else? Ah, the cost was absolutely reasonable! If you are planning a visit to Florence, I highly recommend visiting La Grotta Guelfa!"

The entire staff was very friendly and always attentive and available to help. The atmosphere is very charming and well-maintained. We ordered the Chef's Tortellacci and the Florentine steak, and both dishes were divine! We will definitely be back!

I saw a 50% discount at The Fork and went there. It was as good as the reviews said. I think I should have asked for the steak medium-well.

Good food in a pleasant atmosphere

Un très bon restaurant pour déguster la bistecca cuite et découpée par Dennis. Mention spéciale au serveur Kluivert qui parle le français et qui a su nous combler par ses conseils et son amabilité ! On reviendra volontiers déguster la bistecca.

Me encanta este lugar. Comimos aquí un par de veces en enero de 2025 y luego recientemente durante un segundo viaje a Florencia. El personal de camarera es amable y profesional. La pasta es muy buena y tienen buenos vinos. Haga una reserva, sin embargo, si va por la noche. Es muy popular.
