Welcoming and refined atmosphere and suggestive location, impeccable service and truly excellent tasting menu!!

We had lunch at this place. The food was good; I had egg tartare, spectacular! We stayed in the cave, which was a bit damp but nice. The service, as much as it might seem inappropriate, didn't appeal to me. We ordered two glasses of wine, and they charged us 14 euros (the menu said 3 glasses were 15 euros, but whatever), and the waiter poured us the rest of the bottle, which is something you never do, and of course there was sediment in the glass, which was very unpleasant.

Surprise, surprise. Tucked away on the slopes of the Maiella is a restaurant you'd never expect. The atmosphere, service, and food are excellent. The price is fair. Highly recommended, if you can make it there.

Excellent restaurant, slightly above-average prices, with thoughtful furnishings and architecture to welcome guests into an elegant cave-style setting. The staff is friendly and knowledgeable, while the menu offers interesting choices, both modern and traditional. The quality of the cuisine is good, perhaps a little on the "meager" side when it comes to appetizers (€15 for the cured meats appetizer, but it was a plate with very few slices for that price). The first courses were excellent (the tagliolini with cocoa are noteworthy: exceptional!), while the second courses were very well prepared, but perhaps a little on the small side (aside from the numerous fibrous/tough parts of the sirloin). All in all, an excellent restaurant, with a vast and interesting wine selection featuring labels closely tied to the local area, and a good culinary experience: well worth the detour. Tip for waiters: sometimes you can't be heard when you describe the dishes!

Il locale è accogliente e moderno, con qualche scivolata di gusto nell’arredo. Peccato, perché tutto il resto è eccellente. Il personale è giovane, preparato e molto gentile. La cucina è tradizionale ma alleggerita da note innovative e rispetta pienamente le più alte aspettative, senza scadere nel “ricerchismo” artefatto ed esasperato. Una nota di merito particolare per la carta dei vini, non eccessiva, ma solida e per la competenza del sommelier, giovane e molto appassionato. Ben rappresentato il territorio con materie prime di eccellenza e i migliori vini. Rapporto qualità prezzo davvero eccellente. Merita assolutamente la visita

Mi esposa y yo estamos visitando amigos y este retaurante nos fue sugerido, Como se puede ver somos ingleses y no hay mucho inglés hablado en esta zona sin embargo a la llegada nos encontramos con Christian (disculpe si el nombre es incorrecto) hablaba excelente inglés junto con Franco el chef que eran ambos muy serviciales en nuestras elecciones de comida, otro camarero cuyo nombre extrañé había trabajado allí durante 24 años, aunque su inglés no era tan bueno nos hizo sentir cómodos y fue muy servicial. el ambiente del restaurante y la comida y el servicio que recibimos merece más de una calificación de 5 y recomendaría encarecidamente este restaurante a cualquiera que visite la zona, sin duda volvería
