La Grengia di Prarostino is a true gem of Piedmontese cuisine! 🌟 Located in the heart of the village, this trattoria is a must-visit for those who love good food and a welcoming atmosphere. The atmosphere is rustic and warm, with a spacious interior and a charming outdoor garden, perfect for summer evenings. The staff is friendly and professional, always ready to satisfy their guests' needs.

I had dinner on Sunday evening with my daughter. As soon as we sat down, we were brought homemade bread and breadsticks: amazing! This was followed by a small welcome appetizer, which was much appreciated. I chose a couple of appetizers and my daughter the mixed tasting. They were all delicious, and the tasting tray was also original. Pleasantly surprised to find truffles on offer at Prarostino, we were tempted by the tagliolini and egg in fondue; what can I say... we were delighted with our choice: excellent truffle, spectacular handmade tagliolini, and the egg... well, to die for. We finished with the traditional bonet, better than many others we've tried elsewhere, and a special mention for the Valdese cake with caramel and walnut toffee sauce. To conclude, we were served sweet friandises. Small cornmeal pastries and crunchy, sugary peanuts to die for. We wanted to pair it with a good wine but didn't want to buy a bottle, so they promptly suggested serving it by the glass, serving us two different and truly interesting wines. I'd been there before and noticed a noticeable improvement. The place is more refined and welcoming, the dishes excellent, the wine list significantly more extensive, and there are many select artisanal products for sale, including Batiaje di Casa Vincenti, the best cornmeal biscuits I know of in the area. The wines on the menu can also be purchased to take away at a discounted price. I'll definitely be back soon, especially in the summer to enjoy the green space out back. Well done!
