Pugliesi really make excellent pizza.

We had dinner on Friday evening at la Gravina, an excellent neighborhood DJ pizzeria with Apulian specialities. We ordered a sausage and roast potato pizza and a puccia with mushroom aubergines, provola and horse rags. Excellent quality, the ingredients in the puccia were plentiful. There is an extensive menu of starters, which looking at the other tables looked really tempting. It's a very popular place so it can be a bit noisy.

The pizza is spectacular, with real fresh Apulian fiordilatte and the dough simply perfect (you don't get thirsty after eating it). The appetizer platter is absolutely worth it with morsels of Apulian delicacies. In their old location they had 2 communion/confirmation lunches, everyone was delighted. Definitely honest prices. Nice and kind hosts. I hope to come for lunch here again next time I return to Milan! Upd: back, always good pizza! It's a shame there's no longer a mixed platter with tasters of all kinds... Now you have to assemble multiple courses of appetizers but if the company is being health-conscious, you won't be able to do it alone... See you next time ;-)

Cozy place, fast service and excellent Apulian cuisine. Highly recommended.

Domenica a pranzo da “La Gravina”, ci siamo tornati verso fine marzo. Avevo prenotato per le 13, mi aspettavo il pienone invece... pochi tavoli occupati, strano per una domenica ma meglio così, più tranquilli. Noi andiamo sul sicuro, ormai ordiniamo sempre le stesse cose da anni — è il nostro comfort food, diciamo. Come antipasto abbiamo preso i “Latticini Pugliesi”: burrata, stracciatella, nodini, scamorza affumicata e bufala. Tutto freschissimo, come sempre. In più una porzione large di chips fatte da loro, croccanti al punto giusto, con sale e rosmarino. Una bomba. Poi siamo passati alle pucce: la mia preferita, la “Porta Napoli” con provola e polpette al sugo (una roba che crea dipendenza 😅), e l’altra, la “Salinella”, con gli uccelletti — involtini di mozzarella e pancetta — e patatine fritte. Super saporite, porzioni abbondanti, ci hanno fatto felici. Da bere solo acqua (due bottiglie), e alla fine due caffè per chiudere bene. Abbiamo speso intorno ai 55 euro in due, che per quello che abbiamo mangiato ci sta tutto. Non vediamo l’ora di tornare!

Si es calificada como la mejor pizzería de Milán merecerá el título Totalmente elección de la gente local. Pizza y entradas con los ingredientes más frescos Prosciutto, buraya, mozzarella provola con la que te comes los dedos. Servicio perfecto y ambiente ovacionado por Manolo Debo irme.

The La Gravina pizzeria offers an exceptional culinary experience, with typical dishes of the Apulian tradition, with a welcoming atmosphere and impeccable service. I highly recommend this place!

Excellent Neapolitan DOC pizza, very popular in the evening. The desserts are good.
