Historic refuge on Pian del Sole. You can get there by chairlift, by car and on foot. A short and healthy walk of about 3 km will take you to over 1500 metres. You can enjoy a wonderful view up there. But above all the climate is fantastic in this period. You can start from either Campo Smith or the Giolitti Fountain (tough route). Friendly and friendly service. The dishes are good and well made. You can rent an umbrella and two deckchairs for €10. They have recently finished renovating the house next door which they rent both in summer and winter.

Very good restaurant with a large variety of dishes. I highly recommend you take the mountain cheese platter and don't skip the dessert!
Very friendly staff and quick service :)
The only flaw was the baked potatoes... they were delicious but cold.

The most beautiful place to stop and eat both in summer and winter in Bardonecchia. Excellent management, great attention to detail, excellent dishes and great choice of wines.

Excellent food, same service. Location (for me) best ever.
I get there by chairlift or on foot along the routes. For people with disabilities, the chairlift is fine, the staff is prepared for every case.

Arriving on foot with a comfortable climb from Bardonecchia, we sat down on a weekday in August in this place....
Polenta with excellent and abundant sausage, grilled vegetables, very attentive and courteous service, honest prices, sunny and clean environments....
