Great place to eat on the mountain! We had some panini and a pasta. Both well priced and delicious. Despite the staff knowing little English the service was great! Would recommend 😊

Delicious, cosy and perfect view. We ordered carrot soup with amaretto, gnocchi with spinach and potatoes with beacon and eggs. The presentation of the dish was beautiful. It was very tasty.

The beauty of the refuge is being able to eat in front of the ski slopes. Good sandwiches with frankfurters and sausage, polenta concia pescantuccia. Fast service.

La Grangia has been my favorite cabin since I was little; it is located in front of the arrival point of the Smith chairlift in Pian del Sole. Here you can savor the true flavors of the mountains thanks to its restaurant; it also offers an excellent selection of wines. If you are a meat lover you absolutely must try the raw meat and the Fassona fillet... both amazing! In the morning you will find croissants, cakes, cheesecakes and tarts for a delicious breakfast that will allow you to face the day of skiing or a nice walk. Outside you can also have quicker meals with sausage sandwiches, hamburgers, hotdogs and chips to which you can add sauerkraut and onions (also very satisfying).

Indubbiamente sulle piste è il luogo in assoluto MIGLIORE dove fermarsi per un panino o per un pranzo di alto livello. Complimenti!

22/02/2025: We had dinner for the first time in this restaurant, I would say specialists in cooking fish. Dishes rich in flavour, quality ingredients and very fresh fish, generous portions, compliments to the chef! We had two truly exceptional first courses!! Tomorrow we'll be back to taste the second courses (we can't wait...) highly recommended!! Bertolino family We returned to taste the second courses, what can I say... as excellent as the first courses, even though the place was full, the service was fast and efficient, compliments to all the staff
14/01/2025: Definitely good fish. Raw material of the highest quality, you can feel the freshness on the palate. Truly welcoming and prepared service, guys full of enthusiasm. On account we thought we would spend more for the quality served. Giovanni nice guy. He entered this adventure with seriousness, enthusiasm, energy... but above all with the humility of wanting to improve in a sector always struggling with innovation. 16/02/2025: After having tried several Piedmontese cuisine restaurants, I must say that the dishes eaten in Trattoria Carmen were not beaten by anyone: excellent vitello tonnato, best plin I have ever eaten (without a shadow of a doubt), followed by perfectly balanced bonet. The truly fantastic accompanying Nebbiolo was chosen by one of the staff who very carefully (and without an explicit request from me) prefectly selected a "lighter" Nebbiolo, suitable for lunch. Well done! It was a very pleasant experience and one to be recommended.
