La Grande Cina In Venezia

An excellent family-run Chinese restaurant, offering delicious food cooked with expert care, friendly staff, and a good value. We'll definitely be returning. It's easily accessible from Venice, just a three-minute walk from the piers in Piazzale Santa Maria Elisabetta. This restaurant also has a small outdoor terrace shaded by the trees on Via Perasto, a side street off the Gran Viale in Lido di Venezia, making it a great place to sit in the summer. The interior is clean, tidy, and welcoming. I've attached some photos.

We ate outside; the outside atmosphere wasn't terrible, but inside it felt like a soup kitchen for depressed people. The food wasn't bad, and the portions were generous. The almond chicken was a bit salty, but everything else was more than okay. When I got to the cashier to pay (the cashier was initially smiling), my card was rejected because the lady was in a hurry and didn't have me place my card properly. She looked at me and yelled, "CARD REFUSED!" and repeated it three times. I told her to try again, but she didn't understand, so I repeated it and she got it. I tried again, and it worked. I recommend a vacation to reduce stress.

Excellent food, nothing to complain about... tasty. The prices were good and not excessive. Unfortunately, the service was poor, slow and always late. I don't know if they were pretending not to understand or what. We dined outside. Everything was fine. The interior wasn't the best. That said, I'd go back and give it another chance.

Stand 21.05.2025: Dienstag geschlossen, ansonsten durchschnittliche Qualität zum guten Preis, Bedienung freundlich, wird von Asiaten ! und italienischen Stammkunden besucht. Touris wenig
