Trattoria alla Colonna

04/11/2025: Lovely meal at Trattoria all Colonna. Very important to book in the evening but we managed to eat without a reservation on Tuesday at lunchtime. Typical local well cooked food from an osteria. Lovely beef carpaccio, followed by penne a la casa which was full of flavour very tasty indeed. All washed down with a beautiful local Veronese red beer - superb! You can get wines by the glass as well. Big thanks also to the kind staff and young man who helped get back an important pink bag full of insulin for my type 1 diabetic fiancé - grazie mille!!

21/12/2025: A beautiful trattoria in Gazzo Veronese, offering a well-executed traditional menu at affordable prices. I attended a pumpkin-themed evening, the central ingredient in every dish. A different wine was served with each course. Everything was delicious, highly recommended!
11/11/2025: A meeting with colleagues at an excellent restaurant, with a high-quality menu and beautifully presented dishes. Friendly service in a setting with period furniture that enhances the ambiance. Delicious pumpkin tortelli.
