We always enjoy a gelato from the Frigidarium when in Rome. There is no seating but it’s still the best gelato in this part of the city. You can choose free whipped cream or chocolate topping on your cone or cup of gelato. This December there were no lines, but the service is fast and any line will move quickly.

I live a few minutes away, it's surrounded by tourist spots and always has a line, but it's the best and most authentic gelato in central Rome. The best flavors are stracciatella, bacio, frutti di bosco, and crema fiorentina. The price has always been low compared to other gelato shops in the area. I love you.

Excellent gelato in the center of Rome, with unique and delicious flavors. The cinnamon gelato is fantastic! They also add a delicious melted chocolate coating. Excellent value.

04/01/2026: Excellent ice cream shop and bar in the center, a side street off Via Arenula. It doesn't have a huge variety of flavors, but they're all excellent. I recommend trying the rice and rose ice cream. You can sit inside or outside. Friendly staff. Always excellent.
31/12/2025: The best gelato we had in 6 days in Rome. Interesting flavors with perfect consistency, as well as lots of seating for a mid-day break.
