But then you get here, to La Gatta Mangiona, and you realize that everything you thought you knew about pizza needs to be rewritten. This isn’t just the best pizza I’ve ever eaten… it’s an emotion. An explosion of flavors that overwhelms you from the first bite, a dough so good that you want to eat it alone, a perfect balance between tradition and creativity. Each variation is a discovery, a pleasure that almost moves you. You find yourself closing your eyes while you eat, because the taste speaks directly to your heart. And then there are the supplì: crunchy, fragrant, rich. They’re not an appetizer, they’re a treat. Thanks to whoever created this place. You can feel that there’s love in every detail, in every choice. For me, La Gatta Mangiona has become a place of the soul. And every time I come back, it’s like coming home.

We haven't been back to Gatta mangiona for many years... because of the distance from home. I must say that nothing has changed. One of the best pizzas in Rome. Well done

Locale molto carino e giovanile... Alle pareti immagini di gatti ovunque! Pizza discretamente buona, impasto forse non cosi digeribile e un po' troppo "ciungoso".

The wait staff was very kind and courteous, especially considering that there were many of us, confusing and with a small child. Really very smiling, professional, present. As for the pizza, I took the Calabrese and found it really excellent. To be honest, I must say that I also tasted a slice of my partner's marinara and found it less good than others. Overall a good pizzeria, where I will definitely return

La pizza è ottima. Non è la tipica pizza romana (fine e più o meno croccante), ma neanche napoletana (spessa e soffice). È la pizza della gatta mangiona: lievitazione perfetta, cornicione soffice e alto, resto fine. È leggera e digeribile. Molti gusti ben assortiti.
