La Gatta - Da Gerardo In Bologna

A very authentic place, a bit bizarre, but with a very simple and excellent menu. A spectacular wine list, on par with the food. A highly recommended place.

I had been eyeing the restaurant for some time, but I hadn't managed to combine work with free time, today I finally managed to sit at the table. Friendly staff, complete menu but without exaggerating in the choices. I go straight to an old love of mine, tagliatelle with Bolognese ragù. In the meantime they serve me a welcome entrée. A tomato bruschetta with aubergine and oil... In its simplicity it was a real surprise of stellar goodness. The tagliatelle are the right portion, the seasoning is generous, rating: fantastic. Cooking: perfectly al dente. In the end there is a large base of ragù that can be brushed with pleasure by the excellent homemade bread. Highly recommended. When I sit at the table I don't waste time unwrapping photos, you'll have to trust me! 😜😍

Although Gerardo, the owner, responds to the order "excellent choice", there is no less centered choice. And this is due first of all to Gerardina, the chef, who studies, experiments and changes the menu with enormous passion when something new really convinces her. And if the heart mixes with manual skill and ingenuity, an art is born

Sono stato a cena con famiglia il posto è carino, tranquillo con pochi tavoli, il servizio è stato un po' lento sia per prendere l'ordinazione sia nell'uscita delle portate. I piatti sono arrivati purtroppo tiepidi, con porzioni leggermente scarse. I prezzi li ho trovati bizzarri, praticamente tutti uguali (e sopra la media) indipendentemente dal tipo ( dalla tagliatella al ragù, al risotto con frutti di mare...). Buona la qualitá dei piatti, ma si chiama trattoria, anche se di trattoria è rimasto solo il nome.

Posto ideale per una cena di coppia o tra amici. Locale molto carino, personale accogliente che ti fa sentire a casa. Ottimi i menu degustazione, eccellente scelta di vini (fatevi consigliare da Gerardo). Consigliatissimo!
