We had a wonderful lunch here on a Sunday afternoon. We got the set menu for €40pp. We chose the fish menu. Beautiful plates. We asked for wine pairing and got 4 wines from sparking piedmont to natural Veneto to rosé from Calabria. Spent 3 hours there. Very reasonable prices we thought. A bit of a walk from central Bologna but we recommend.

I've been going to this place for years and it already says a lot. Maybe the environment could be nicer but it's called Trattoria and so it fits. The cuisine, the wines and the customer care more than compensate for any possible but unlikely small mistakes. Thank you for the affection you give me and have given us for years.

Let me start by saying that unless I am absolutely surprised (negatively or positively) I do not publish a review on my first experience in a restaurant. I have been to La Gatta twice and with the desire to return many times to come. The environment does not impress with its furnishings but it is clean, pleasant and for cinema lovers, even interesting given the many vintage photos and posters on display. Welcoming is the owner, available without being intrusive, a great connoisseur of wine which he offers to the table after having explored the preferences of the diners. The menu varies every month, with both land and sea proposals, cooked with love by the owner chef, served in perfect harmony with the room. In conclusion, a dinner with dishes balanced in flavors and combinations, where the Cilento tradition and that authenticity that takes you back home stands out, with quality raw materials starting from homemade bread and oil. In a Bologna with a thousand proposals, certainly a reference for the Savena area. Well done!

Torno dopo un anno alla trattoria la Gatta ed appena uscito dal locale, mi riprometto di non far passare più tanto tempo per un altra visita. Il pranzo è stato spettacolare, abbiamo preso entrambi il menù degustazione pesce ed abbiamo aggiunto un fuori menù, preso una bottiglia ed un calice a testa extra. Tutti i piatti sono stati eseguiti in maniera impeccabile, usano un olio a crudo ottimo che esalata una cucina saporita, ma non troppo carica di sale. Il che mi piace molto, tutto gustoso, compreso il dolce che per il menù prevedeva una fetta di sacher. La cantina è da sballo, con ricarichi onesti e tanta competenza per chi vorrà farsi consigliare. Abbiamo chiuso con un caffè ed un distillato di Capovilla. Ci sarei tornato anche a cena la stessa sera, quindi a presto!!
