We were returning from the Pitti Palace when we came across a narrow street where we found this place. The food was delicious: especially the pasta and meat dishes; the service was excellent (a man with glasses was extremely attentive), and the atmosphere was relaxed and almost empty. The prices were reasonable; the place was charming and the service was good. I recommend it.

A fairly poor restaurant, with high prices for what they offer, a classic tourist trap. The waiter who mocks tourists once their backs are turned is completely out of place and completely unprofessional. Plastic water in a restaurant is not even available in the canteens. The food is average, so I couldn't give it more than 3 stars. Sorry.

This is the real deal. It's quiet but delicious. It's so friendly and sweet. The T-bone steak and 'Laviano' are so delicious. I'll come again. I won't forget. Be sure to try the Florentine aperitif, Aparol? It's really good when you eat it together. ♡

The steak was cooked to perfection, and the sautéed vegetables on the side were absolutely delicious.
The carbonara sauce, in particular, was amazing!
I also loved the quiet, classic atmosphere — it made the whole experience even better.

This Place Feels Like Home
It was our first meal in Florence, and my partner and I hadn’t researched any restaurants beforehand. Exhausted from traveling, we were instantly drawn in by the cozy vibe of this restaurant as we walked past. The staff members were friendly and genuine, and the food was fantastic. Overall, our experience was wonderful! We noticed several tables occupied by locals, which made us believe the food must be authentic. If you’re staying near the Ponte Vecchio, don’t miss this hidden gem!

Great service, a fantastic selection of dishes. The pizza was super delicious. The meatballs are highly recommended.
Not a tourist trap; we were surrounded by locals. You can also come in for just a glass of wine. Huge wine selection. The seating is very quiet in a covered passageway, a bit away from the tourist area. Highly recommended!

We stopped here for lunch during our tour of Florence and we tried some typical local dishes such as Florentine meatballs and Mugello tortelli. Average quality-price ratio with the center of Florence (considering that we are close to Palazzo Pitti and Ponte Vecchio) but still everything was delicious. Very friendly and fast service.
