And Irene, from Palermo who after years of living in Milan still maintains the splendid accent from here, among all the other indications made a point of telling us that we absolutely could not miss the opportunity to have dinner at La Galleria. Thanks Irene, it was a fantastic dinner. The excellent food and wonderful welcome in this beautiful place in a corner of the historic center a little hidden behind the cathedral gave us a truly memorable evening, one of those that give the certainty of having found a "fixed point" in a beautiful but until then unknown city, one of those that will make you dream of returning, which already makes you feel part of it, at least a little. Looking for a bite to eat we searched and came upon this place that was tucked away. A great choice it was too. Rare tuna and black pork chop were fabulous. Lovely wine and a huge selection. Recommended and not expensive.
