We found this place completely by chance after a stop in Rome. We were completely taken aback by it, but let's start from the beginning. We arrived around 6 pm. As we approached the place, we met the owner, who, after reassuring us that we could eat despite the unusual time, sat us down at an outdoor table. We ordered three carbonaras, a fried fish dish, a meatball, a sausage, and the tripe. Everything was truly fabulous: the carbonara was creamy, the pasta al dente, and the pecorino cheese—real, not parmesan. The meats were spectacular: three meatballs the size of hand grenades exploded in your mouth with a mix of flavors. The sausage was delicious and succulent, but the real star was the tripe: soft, calloused, cooked to perfection, and served in a sauce that was a cream of flavors with a hint of clove for a touch of sweetness. We spent €22 each, including two bottles of water and a half-carafe of a divine red wine. If we hadn't had to drive, we would have ordered much more. At the end of the meal, the owner, who was always there for our every need, offered us some delicious taralli made with wine. What can I say? It deserves top marks, a quiet place where we'll definitely return every time we're in the area.

Absolutely amazing! The owners are such lovely charismatic people. The place itself is full of Italian culture and home made food. The food is so very delicious we have been back 3 times during our 7 day stay ! Wont find nicer food in the area. Definitely order lasagne and eggplant parmesan you wont regret it. Couldn't recommend highly enough!
