This is our second time here for lunch; the first time, last year, was superb; the second time was good.
The truffle Gricia was extremely salty, undoubtedly due to the pecorino and guanciale. The pasta was edible, but I left the sauce on the plate. My dad had the Matriciana and said it was tasty but very good, my husband had the carbonara and it was out of this world. Generous portions. I had the porcini mushrooms, but they were completely drowned in oil. I ate two forkfuls and then took the rest home.
The service was a real mess if the owners were taking orders. Otherwise, it was chaos.
I recommend the polenta with chicory and guanciale; I assure you, it's truly delicious.
And their donuts are fantastic.

The food is excellent. The ingredients are incredibly fresh. It's a shame about the wait staff. They should smile a little more and be less hassled by diners' requests.

Fantastic food, you can taste top-notch typical Roman cuisine... exceptional appetizer, delicious porchetta... the first courses are equally spectacular... I recommend the truffle gricia, a delicacy... thank you for the magnificent evening and the excellent dinner.

cucina tradizionale dei Castelli Romani
Il menù spazia da ricchi antipasti come lo
celebre porchetta di Ariccia, affettati e
verdure sott'olio, a primi piatti tipici come
cacio e pepe, carbonara ecc..
Tra i secondi, spiccano i fagioli con le
cotiche, la trippa e gli arrosticini.
Il locale ha un'atmosfera accogliente e
vivace, con arredi rustici e tovaglie a quadri,
in perfetto stile fraschetta.

Tipica Fraschetta con eccellente varietà di cibo.
Cacio e Pepe da PANICOOO , alla romana maniera e grigliata di carni eccellente.
Prezzo adeguato alla qualità ottima del cibo..... poi , col caffè, biscottini fatti da loro buonissimi.
