La Fornacella In Ercolano

This place deserves a much higher rating than it has. Best pizza I have had in a week in Ercolano, by far. I went into the restaurant because it was Sunday night, and almost nowhere else was open. I had avoided it for a week because it looks touristy from the outside, but it actually is not touristy inside. Not much English is spoken, and you will see drinks and condiments that you don't see in tourist joints. Quiet and romantic inside. Best wine I have had in Ercolano, thanks to the server's suggestion. Make sure you try the incredible pepper oil, which the average American won't find "spicy" as the restaurant calls it, but very tasty.

The pizza is simply excellent. Very tasty, simple, and above all, very digestible. The prices are slightly higher than average, around €10 for more complex pizzas. They could have had some cheaper beer options, just to make things more comfortable, but I repeat, the pizza is excellent and you can be sure of a good deal.

Everything was delicious and perfectly cooked. The fresh pasta of the day was with zucchini, cherry tomatoes, and shrimp, and it was spectacular. We ordered the typical local pizza with sausages as a starter, and it was fantastic. 100% recommended. And the service was quick and very friendly. 10 out of 10!

This place was a winner! We had the pasta with potatoes, the pasta alla genovese, the escarole, and the friggerelli. Everything was very good.

Four of us went to La Fornacella for dinner. We loved it! The staff were incredibly friendly and charming, and the food was absolutely delicious. The prices are very reasonable and the quality is excellent. We especially loved the tomato sauce! My brother was thrilled, and so were we. We'll definitely be back!

I was expecting a tourist trap with this location, but the pizzas were very good and reasonably priced. The tomato sauce was smooth and delicious; I'm very satisfied.

Excellent food, fair prices, and friendly staff. We order lunch from them every Sunday for delivery, but we occasionally enjoy eating in.

From the outside, it doesn't look very inviting; it looks like one of those simple places... but it's a real surprise. The place is simple, but the food is truly delicious. The pasta with potatoes and provola is exceptional. You can taste it's made with care. An unpretentious place with lots of flavor. Highly recommended!
