La Fornace Zambelli In Ro

After many years I returned to this restaurant...La Fornace Ma with an adjoining Butcher's shop and restaurant. We were 3 friends, 2 first courses and a cockerel...first we opted for a mix of cured meats...the first courses strictly homemade, tasty and good. Excellent cockerel. Very kind staff.. the place is a little dated.. but clean and well-kept. We will return.

Welcoming and evocative environment, right from the counter at the entrance with a truly impressive display of meat, of different cuts and qualities. The staff is welcoming and friendly, and the owner is super nice. Vast choice on the menu including starters, first and second courses, all of excellent quality. The care behind this activity, as you can feel, is a lot but above all very high... from breeding to cooking and finally to service. The appetizer of various types of cold cuts served with a tasty hot piadina is highly recommended. Personally, I also found the abundant grilled mixed meat, served with potatoes and grilled vegetables, very inviting and appetizing. It is without a doubt a must for anyone who eats fat!!! We will be back to visit you soon!!

Excellent hospitality, service and food.

Ideal place for those who like grilled meat. Wide choice of cuts and sausages (you enter through the butcher's shop) to then be cooked. The appetizer of mixed cured meats and piada was excellent. Rustic atmosphere but for this very reason pleasant. Fast and attentive service. The owner is jovial and generous with explanations and jokes. Excellent value for money. Recommended (for those who eat fat!).

Butcher shop with attached restaurant. The restaurant is located in Ruina, a small town outside Ferrara but it's worth getting here!! You eat genuine food and real Ferrara products. Sublime meat!!!!!

Il pranzo della domenica è una tradizione che in alcuni locali non prostituiti sono in grado di farti ancora sentire come se il tempo si fosse fermato. Gentilissimo l’oste ci accoglie. È una domenica di sole tiepido. Nell’attesa nella dimentica campagna di Ruina, beviamo un calice generoso di prosecco. Quindi pronti all’avventura gastronomica, in ingresso una genuina macelleria da acquolina in bocca, ci accomodiamo e ci sorride un piatto di prosciutto strepitoso con piadina ottima ad accompagnarlo. E quindi? Nel regno della carne? Naturalmente arriva la regina delle grigliate con verdure. Il gioco è fatto. Allegria, simpatia, bontà. Tante chiacchiere e sono le 16. Una passeggiata nella splendida tenuta di Zanzalino. Ed è…subito sera. Esperienza imperdibile . State bene
