Definitely try the "pizza tour" (all-you-can-eat pizza menu). Quality pizza, wide selection. The place is very large and busy; reservations are recommended.

For me it's the best, the place is truly enchanting, a stone's throw from home, the dishes are really good, the pizza for me is one of the best, fantastic desserts, the staff are kind, fast, friendly and they always make me happy by welcoming my dog Mika, well done

La Fornace is the best pizzeria and steakhouse in Anzio and the province of Rome, run by Max and his family with passion, professionalism, and a genuine love for their customers. It's always sold out, and the reason is clear. The food is good and the service is excellent. Luca, the head waiter, is incredibly professional and an added bonus. I highly recommend it; booking in advance is essential.

I went with friends and we had both meat and pizza.
The sliced steak was truly excellent, the pizza was Roman-style, but you can also make it Neapolitan-style.
The appetizers were delicious, especially the amatriciana supplì.
Fast and efficient service.
The staff were friendly and attentive to the customer's needs!
Definitely worth returning.

We've always been loyal customers, but we hadn't been to Anzio for a while, and when the opportunity arose, we returned. The atmosphere is always pleasant and the dough always good, but the service has significantly slipped: the pizzas arrived rather slowly, despite the small crowd when we arrived, and several times they were missing some ingredients, such as the porcini, provola, and pancetta pizza, twice without pancetta, and the Napoli pizza without anchovies. One of the waitresses was rather rude, even annoying when answering the staff, while the waiter with glasses, whose name I don't know, is always the best.

Pasta with meat and pumpkin - excellent!!
The meat (main course) was very tough to chew, but flavorful. The service was very helpful and attentive.
One year later:
The appetizers were left on the plate with no interest, the pasta was VERY salty (too much cheese), the meat was also undercooked (very rare on the inside) and not seasoned at all, and the so-called "grilled vegetables" consisted of 4 slices of zucchini and eggplant/eggfruit - cold!
The 4-spoon dessert was served beautifully decorated, at the price of a 4-star restaurant.
While everything (except the service) has deteriorated significantly, the bill was MUCH higher than before.
I cannot currently recommend Della Fornace.
Update October 2025:
Yesterday we ordered pizzas from La Fornace.
One was as ordered, the other was WAY too salty!
Furthermore, the pizza was spongy and the base was rough like sandpaper.
I assume (as some pizzerias do when the oven is too hot) that they tossed some salt in the oven, but then they have to make sure the next pizzas aren't too salty!!!
I won't buy there again and will choose Cocchi's instead.
As a German, I can say:
In Germany, you can find much better pizzas, even at Asian restaurants.
