La Formica Pizzeria - Ristorante In Bardolino

During our short vacation on Lake Garda, we visited a few pizzerias. The best pizza for our taste was at La Formica. Each of the four of us had a different "flavor," and everyone was completely satisfied. And, unlike at the other pizzerias, here, after asking for "tanto aglio," we were given fresh garlic in olive oil to help ourselves! The staff was very friendly and attentive, and the atmosphere was great! The prices are absolutely reasonable!

We were looking for a restaurant that opened before 6 p.m. and finally stumbled upon this one. All the tables were free, and the waitress (or the manager?) greeted us warmly without immediately forcing us to sit down. We were allowed to choose a table outside; it was nicely shaded, and cars drove by every now and then, but it was still quite quiet and pleasant. We immediately felt at home, and the man who served us was super friendly and humorous. My mother wanted extra garlic on her pizza, and we were immediately offered a bowl of garlic oil, which was perfect for us. The pizza was the best we ate there during our week-long vacation. The prices were very fair considering the touristy and central location. The wait was very short (but we were also the only guests), and the restrooms were very spacious and clean. All in all, a very pleasant and recommendable stay.

Great place to people watch and have some good food. Cover charge of €2 per person added to the final bill which is not clearly stated. Staff seemed a little abrupt but not rude.

Great dinner here, outstanding quality and value. Fabulous wine. Friendly staff. Well worth a visit.

Called in for lunch, friendly welcoming, sat outside, couple of cool beers, shared a Sicilian pizza, fries and mixed salad, finished off with an espresso. Left very happy.

Four of us went there twice and were all very impressed: great food, attentive service, and fair value. Since we're still here for a few more days, we'll definitely go again.

We had lunch in mid-April at this restaurant-pizzeria. Highly recommended, from the price to the quality of the food! We took three pizzas (made with sourdough and you can taste it!!) and they were really excellent! They didn't weigh us down and we had a good time! Even the tiramisu was excellent! After ordering, while we were waiting they brought us some bread made by them with sourdough... spe-cial!!! The staff was very helpful and kind! We will definitely come back here as soon as we are in the area, we were really satisfied!!

Super delicious food and excellent value for money

Dieses Ristorante war schon vor dem Besitzerwechsel eines unserer Bevorzugten. Auch danach kann man hier hervorragend essen und logischerweise gleich schön, etwas abseits des Trubels, sitzen. Die Speisekarte ist umfassend und die Weinkarte bietet eine suffiziente Auswahl. Der Fisch ist auf den Punkt, die Nudeln schön al dente. Der Service ist sehr freundlich. Hier kehrt man gerne ein und bleibt sitzen.
