First, the bad news: the walk down might be a bit strenuous for some and involves a few steps, but the constantly changing view of the sea makes up for it. Generally, it's one of the few ways to get to the sea. Once you get to the bottom, you pay €15 for a beach towel; the usual price for Capri is €45 for an espresso, a Hugo, and a small beer... after three days of 15,000 steps, including climbing Mount Vesuvius, the walk back up was a bit painful 😄 - but it's definitely worth it.

Overall, I was disappointed with this beach club and felt it wasn’t worth the price. The setup was uncomfortable, just weird beach chairs and these strange mattress-like pads to lay on, which made it hard to relax. For what you pay, I expected a much better experience.
That said, the food was incredible — honestly one of the best meals I’ve had in all of Italy — and the restaurant itself had a really cool, charming vibe. Unfortunately, the beach club experience just fell flat and ended up being a big letdown.

The kindness of the staff rivals the wonderful location...immersed in the sea of Capri's Faraglioni.
The restaurant is excellent, what more can I say!! The service is pleasant and friendly. A challenging but excellent choice...thank you, Mr. Gargiulo.

My experience at La Fontelina was absolutely unforgettable 🌊🤍. The view of Capri’s deep blue sea is breathtaking, the atmosphere is dreamy, and the service is top-notch. Truly one of the most beautiful beach clubs on the island ✨

If you ever find yourself in Capri, this restaurant is a must-visit. The atmosphere is simply beautiful, with stunning views all around that make the experience unforgettable. We were not able to reserve the sun beds but we had a table for 2 for lunch. Not really disappointed because the sun beds were okay, nothing special. The food was great, the service was great. Desert was mediocre but the coffee was fantastic. A bit pricey but it’s a holiday destination so it’s acceptable.
