La Filoma In Parma

An incredible time spent in this typical Parma restaurant! The ham was of the highest quality, which paired perfectly with the slightly spicy Parmesan. The antica pasta was among the best pasta I've ever eaten. It had a perfect taste and texture. All the flavors were perfectly balanced and blended together perfectly! The desserts were typical of the region, which were just as good as the rest of the meal. And all this for a price that wasn't at all expensive. The service was friendly, professional, and very professional! This is a MUST-SEE stop in Parma.

La Filoma is an elegant restaurant in the center of Parma, open all day. In addition to the typical Italian decor, you can see paintings in the style of expressive abstraction on the walls. It's a strange combination, but it fits the menu, which includes unconventional variations on local cuisine or things not found in other places and forgotten recipes from the past. Following this lead, I ordered the Antica pasta della Filoma, a filling pasta made from four different flours with a sauce based on cherry tomatoes, almonds and smoked ricotta. Delicious and indeed not to bee found on other menus in Italian restaurant that I know. My companion opted for equally tasty ravioli filled with ricotta and local herbs. I also liked this dish very much. For such a setting and an interesting menu, however, you have to add about 1-2 euros more to your bill in comparison to the standard of similar restaurants in the area. Do not worry - it is worth it!

Chose this by pure chance and was pleasantly surprised by the good food. The tagliatelle is one of the better pasta dishes I've been served. Will be back next time I'm in town 👌

Very tasty home-made pasta ‘Antica pasta della Filoma’ and wonderful veal fillet menu ‘Rosa di Parma (filetto di vitellone)’. Carbenet was also good with the Rosa di ham. I think here will be one of the best restuarant in Parma city area you can try. We’ll come to try other menu for sure! Very kind staffs speaking English. Cozy and not crowded at lunch time on Tuesday.

We have traveled all over Italy for years, once a year, every year. La Filoma is the single best restaurant in all of Italy. The staff and chef are incredible. The food is second to none. We include Parma in our trips every year, just so we can go to La Filoma. It is that good....

Ristorante raffinato, servizio impeccabile, cibo eccellete e ottima la presentazione. Il tempo di attesa è forse un tanto ma la qualità è alta. Sicuramente torneremo

This is a well established place with a traditional feel The food was too class and the service attentive and helpful I had beef with tartufo nero and rosemary potatoes It was delicious My daughter had Tortelli with ricotta and herbs She enjoyed it thoroughly

Antica trattoria nel centro di Parma che offre, oltre ai patti della tradizione parmense, anche alcuni piatti ispirati alla tradizione ma del tutto originali, come la pasta alla filoma ( tagliatelle fatte in casa con culatello, mandorle, pomodorini, maggiorana e ricotta affumicata). Molto buone le tagliatelle con il ragù di strolghino ed il coniglio in salsa di frutta con carciofi. Molto particolare la location un appartamento in stile fine ottocento con arredi risalenti agli inizi del secolo scorso. Simpatico e cordiale lo chef che nel descrivere i piatti te li fa immaginare come se li avessi davanti. Prezzi ragionevoli
