A walk around Lake Scanno and we stopped at this restaurant, a real discovery. We ate very well. Will gladly revisit.

Restaurant inside what used to be a living room of a house, nice, cozy. Typical cuisine done well with a special first course with homemade pasta. Try their desserts. Attentive and kind service, very welcoming. Very reasonable bill for what we ate. A place definitely worth trying if you are in those areas.

I was there yesterday after work and, having found it by chance, I can say that I was really impressed. The place, immersed in the village, offers quality food and hospitality. I hope to return soon.

Simple and fabulous dishes, mostly prepared with home-grown or zero-mile ingredients. The cheeses, the house starter and the first courses are fantastic. Simple management, kindness and friendliness.

10/06/2025: Here everything is where it should be. This is the Place! From here many things start and many things arrive. Therefore do not investigate further, but sit down to eat, to drink, to try happiness.
25/05/2025: We were in this restaurant on Friday, it was a pleasant day, a characteristic restaurant in the historic center of Pettorano, very good food, we had the hot and cold Torchio appetizer, fantastic honey for the cheeses that was offered to us directly from a hive frame, then we ordered a trio of polenta, wild boar with mushrooms in white and 2 sweet pizzelle with pistachio ice cream and a mouse with aurum and chocolate chips, all really good.

Ristorante la Maestria

22/03/2025: Abbiamo scelto La Maestria per festeggiare il compleanno di mio padre: eravamo in 9 e non potevamo fare scelta migliore. Il pranzo è stato davvero delizioso, con piatti curati e pesce super fresco. La location è molto bella, accogliente e curata nei dettagli, e il personale…semplicemente top! Un plauso speciale a chi gestisce il locale: sono i “vecchi” della Trota, e si vede tutta la loro esperienza e passione in ogni dettaglio. Complimenti sinceri, davvero meritati!
19/03/2025: Large place with large spaces and a well-kept garden. I ate in this establishment for a party and I really enjoyed it. service staff, excellent food, excellent and above all generous and tasty portions recommended.
